It was okay.
Cons:

The people working the desk when we were checking in were fighting with eachother and it made it very uncomfortable and then the one left the other high and dry while there was a huge line trying to check in. There was an indoor pool advertised and then some of the people that I do not believe were staying at The Hampton were in the grass at the back looking for something and they were blocking the parking lot and I try not to judge looked very messed up. I saw no security on duty and it was a safety issue for me.

It was in a convenient safe location! The beds were comfortable and the a/c was cold. The staff was nice.

Cons:

The elevator to the 2nd Floor was not working the whole time we stayed and had to carry luggage down stairs. The room was dated with trim loose everywhere, air vent in bathroom hanging out and missing louver, receptacle loose from wall in bathroom, a/c unit had inside of walls showing on both sides, office chair was torn, closet door wouldn't open all the way due to bent hinges and was a piece of painted plywood not trimmed out. A guest was complaining due to the water not draining in their room and another was on the phone with host about bed bugs??? Was severely let down, but they were completely full during our stay!
