Hotel Ivy Boston Common

Pagué aproximadamente 4 millones de pesod colombianos por mi reserva de tres noches. Lamentablemente, la experiencia ha sido profundamente decepcionante.

1. Diferencias significativas entre reservas idénticas

Mi amiga y yo reservamos exactamente la misma categoría de habitación, a través del mismo enlace y pagando exactamente la misma tarifa.

A pesar de tener reservas idénticas, recibimos habitaciones considerablemente diferentes.

Me asignaron la que, según confirmó el propio personal del hotel, era la habitación más pequeña de todo el establecimiento, mientras que mi amiga recibió una habitación significativamente más amplia y cómoda.

Después de haber visto personalmente ambas habitaciones, considero que esta diferencia es especialmente decepcionante y difícil de justificar, teniendo en cuenta que reservamos la misma categoría y pagamos el mismo precio.

2. Habitación extremadamente incómoda y ruidosa

Mi habitación es excepcionalmente pequeña, incómoda y ruidosa. Los ruidos provenientes de la calle, los pasillos y las habitaciones vecinas han dificultado considerablemente mi descanso.

3. Atención al cliente decepcionante

Cuando me acerqué a recepción para solicitar un cambio de habitación, la recepcionista permaneció concentrada en su computador mientras yo esperaba de pie, suponiendo que estaba verificando la disponibilidad.

De repente, simplemente me dijo: «Buenas noches», como si la conversación hubiera terminado.

Cuando le expliqué que pensaba que estaba revisando si había otra habitación disponible, me respondió que el hotel estaba completamente lleno.

No hubo ninguna disculpa, explicación adecuada ni intento de ofrecer una alternativa.

Considero que esta interacción reflejó una actitud desinteresada y poco profesional.

4. Falta de limpieza y de información previa

Cuando regresé a mi habitación, descubrí que no había sido limpiada ni arreglada.

Rooms are very cosy , no breakfast available

There was no coffee or tea available on site ( the machine in the front lobby was out of order) as well as no refrigerators in the room.

Some of the staff's attitude wasn't helpful nor welcoming. When I first arrived at 14h and wanted to check in, the person at the front desk told me I had to either pay a fee or wait until 15h (the room was ready). I decided to wait and went back at 14:45h and he still told me to either wait or pay, but thankfully the manager was around and let me check in without an extra cost. He was also very slow at checking people in and the queue kept getting bigger. There was also an issue with a client and her son and the way he addressed it and talked to her was not respectful.

The hallways smelled a bit of cigarettes? And the room could have been a bit cleaner. But maybe it was just the day that we were there. We only stayed one night.

Zu eng und zu teuer!

Water pressure was a little low.

Nothing, really. I wish it was cheaper, but hey, it’s Boston.

Un peu vieillot

Few Irritated staff. So small room.

Outside the room the hallway was really narrow with old carpets, old lift etc. I was surprised because of the amount we were paying, but it wasn't important to me once I saw the charming room. It would have been nice to have a good place to sit near reception and the drinks, but it was all too small.
