Ink Hotels House of Europe

4 stars because it is hard to find a parking space if you’re with a car. There is paid parking though — we parked the car overnight and paid €13 (for approx. 16hrs).
Good location nevertheless as the property is close restaurants, shops and seaside. Views were amazing!

Loved the area. Right across from the water and in center of town.

Logement idéalement situé, à distance de marche des principales attractions et nombreux restaurants. La terrasse intérieure privée de notre suite familiale était appréciée. Munie d’un sèche linge pour suspendre les maillots après la baignade. Calme et tranquillité. Personnel accueillant. Un cahier d’informations très utiles se trouve dans la chambre.

Hôtel sympathique et bien situé. Rue un peu bruyante malheureusement le soir, mais très beau cadre. Et personnels très agréable, mention spécial à Emmanuel pour ses échanges enrichissant.

The place is run down. The carpet was disgusting. We stayed two nights. There was a shade to cover the large window to the entry door. It was operated by a chain that didn’t work after bringing the shade down. So it was difficult get in and out of the room around the floppy shade. We told management first thing in the morning and they never corrected it. They said they would tel the property manager. Regardless of what happened, it was never fixed.

The beds are hard as rocks and low, low to the ground. There was a lot of noise. There was fake gross grass on our patio. Any place would be better.

Very convenient for walking into the old town.

Nossa estadia foi péssima, começou no check inn onde percebemos que não ha elevador ou acessibilidade alguma para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida. Havia solicitado um apto no terreo, que nao foi atendido, chegamos tarde e tive que subir com as malas e meu marido deficiente fisico pelas escadas. No apto muitas surpresas, o apto 10, fique longe dele, ele fica exatamente em cima de um bar/balada que funciona ate 4hrs da manha! O hotel que eh uma casa velha nao possui nenhum tipo de isolamento acústico ou seja vc dorme ou te ta dormir praticamente dentro do bar!!! O banheiro tem um tamanho ridiculo, uma pessoa com mais de 1,60 nao entra no chuveiro que deve ter 60x60 e o vaso fica em um canto de quina, nunca vi igual. Sem falar da luz que acende por sensor e depois nao apaga, ou seja nao va ao banheiro a noite se nao quiser dormir no claro, a cama nao eh de casal sao 2 camas de solteiro juntas, sendo que uma delas esta afundada… ja viajei muito pelo mundo e posso dizer que nunca estive num hotel tao surreal…. Ficamos 3 noites sem mal dormimos. Recomendo fortemente que vc faça uma escolha melhor.

Great location, walkable to shops, sights and castle. Small bathrooms and some rooms with weird distribution.

Comfortable bed, spacious high-ceiling room, tasteful , functional minimalist furniture, super clean rooms , helpful and accommodating staff. Fantastic location with plentiful options in the vibrant dining and night life of the town.

We had an apt type room at Ink. It was great. The location is very nice, but parking and driving there is not. We did get lucky with parking, but we were only there for one night. If we would have had to move the car, it would have been much more challenging, I'm sure. Luckily you can walk everywhere in town. There was a hot tub in our private courtyard. They had water and a drink as a welcome gift. There was a set up for a limited kitchen which we did not use. We entered through the backdoor unknowingly, so it was a bit harder to find the check-in. Enter by the front (Seaside) and no problem. There are a lot of steps. Every room you go to. We had too much stuff for all the steps :) We didn't care for our bed, but the kids had single beds and both said it was the most comfortable on the trip. They are young adults. Breakfast was harder to find close by. We should have asked for recommendations.

Nice view over the harbor.
Not unexpectedly it was very loud due to the many restaurants in the area.
What i did not appreciate is that I had a very early drive to the airport, and I was not offered the convenience of a coffee machine to make myself a coffee. It would he emanate to leave the coffee machine out for me to make a coffee. Not an unusual request.

Can’t recommend this hotel more! Great staff and gorgeous rooms right on the water and right next to the Old Town—truly couldn’t ask for more!
