Esteticamente l’hotel si presenta carino, curato nei dettagli e con una buona posizione. Tuttavia, per il prezzo pagato (200€ a notte per due persone con solo colazione inclusa), l’esperienza complessiva non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative.

Cons:

Partiamo dalla pulizia, che lascia piuttosto a desiderare: gli specchi erano sempre impolverati e le signore delle pulizie impiegavano letteralmente 3-4 minuti a stanza, dando l’idea di una pulizia molto superficiale. Gli asciugamani venivano cambiati solo se lasciati a terra, e una volta abbiamo trovato il bagno completamente bagnato dopo il passaggio della “pulizia”, quindi chiaramente non era stato asciugato.
La colazione, che veniva descritta come un punto di forza, è stata una delusione: alimenti ripetuti per giorni, torte proposte per tre mattine di fila e nemmeno particolarmente buone.
Il personale in generale è stato gentile (una nota di merito va al signor Bruno del servizio navetta, davvero disponibile e accogliente), ma la loro presenza era spesso scarsa, specialmente in spiaggia, dove non c’era alcun bagnino nonostante il mare fosse spesso mosso – cosa che, secondo me, richiederebbe una maggiore attenzione alla sicurezza.
La piscina, seppur piccolina, era accessibile h24, un bel plus, ma lo spazio ridotto la rendeva poco fruibile in determinati momenti della giornata. Altro dettaglio scomodo: una volta usciti dalla stanza, la corrente si spegneva, quindi non era possibile lasciare nulla in carica o mantenere il condizionatore acceso per trovare un ambiente fresco al rientro.
Nel complesso, un hotel carino ma molto piccolo, con tante cose da migliorare. Avrei potuto apprezzarlo di più se avessi speso la metà, ma a 200€ a notte mi aspettavo molto di più, sia in termini di servizi che di cura generale.

Genau wie auf den Bildern. Kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren in der ersten Oktoberhälfte für 10 Tage in der Executivesuite mit Balkon und Meerblick. im 3. Stock. Das Hotel gehört zum Villaggio Marco Polo, der sich den Hügel hinunter bis zum Meer erstreckt. Das Zimmer war groß, die Dusche extrem riesig. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht riesig, aber alles vorhanden was wir wollten und es wurde frisch zubereitet und immer nachgelegt, wenn etwas fertig war. Das Beste sind aber Francesca und Anna, die sich sehr liebevoll um das Frühstück kümmern. Danke euch, ihr habt jeden Morgen zu etwas Besonderem gemacht!! Und wir durften am letzten Tag kostenlos (!) sogar noch bis zum Nachmittag bleiben, da unser Flug erst am Abend war. Die Rezeption ist am Abend und nachts nicht besetzt. Es gibt Pooltücher. Der Pool ist zwar groß, aber nicht tief, eher nur zum Abkühlen. Schöner Garten. Zum Strand von Santa Domenica geht es direkt gegenüber steil hinunter, aber es ist nicht weit, zu Fuß leicht machbar. Das Wasser war kristallklar, der Strand sauber und wir waren fast allein, weil schon Nachsaison war. Man konnte noch schwimmen und es gibt unten auch Liegen. Der Rest des Villaggio schließt mit 30.9 und das Hotel mit 31.10. Daher war es ruhig und die ideale Zeit. Die Lage in Santa Domenica ist perfekt, nicht so überlaufen wie Tropea, der Zugbahnhof nur 10 min. vom Hotel entfernt und auch Geschäfte und Restaurants waren in 10-15 min zu Fuß erreichbar (gute Tipps an der Rezeption). Für uns war das perfekt! Gleich gegenüber gibt es ein Geschäft, wo man Obst und Gemüse und das Wichtigste bekommt. Wer will, kann auch zu Fuß nach Tropea laufen (ca. 3,5 km), immer eben dahin. Wir waren mit dem Zug auch in Scilla und Capo Vaticano. Die Verbindungen sind nicht häufig, daher gut planen.

Très bel endroit, propre et agréable, le service est agréable et chaleureux, le petit déjeuner est parfait. La navette pour aller à la plage est bien mais pas toujours ponctuelle. La piscine est plutôt un pataugeoire car aucune profondeur! Mais belle et bien aménagée.
