Perfect location
Pros:

The location is perfect. The staff absolutely amazing. The room needs a little help and the bathroom is very small as well as the shower and the room itself.

The first night in the power was off on a few blocks. The staff took up our luggage via the stairs. They were always friendly and were knowledgeable about the area.

The restaurant eggs and things is fabulous and is attached to the hotel.

If you are looking for a 5 star resort this is not the place. If you are looking for a great place to sleep and a perfect location across the street from the beach and minutes from shopping you found your place.

I would definitely return.

Great Little Gem
Pros:

If you're looking for a hotel to stay that has great ocean views, the beach directly across the street, an excellent location in Waikiki, you don't care about having a swimming pool, and has reasonable rates, this is the place for you.
If you want a large room, a swimming pool, or have lots of kids, you probably want to go somewhere else.
The rooms are a bit small but adequate, perfect for a couple and perhaps a small kid or two. It does have a nice balcony with a couple of chairs and a small table to set your drinks on
It could use a little TLC, but the room was clean, the mattress was firm, which is the way that I like it, and the staff was friendly.
Spend extra to get an ocean view room on one of the top floors. It's worth it.
I would definitely stay here again.

My day lasted 15 minutes due to the very dirty heavy cigarette smell
Pros:

The location of the property is absolutely the best.

Cons:

The rooms are extremely small and outdated and reek of heavy cigarette smoke. There was even ashes that were not cleaned from the patio and balcony where we stayed. I was in the room for less than 15 minutes due to the fact that I have severe asthma and I’m planning for a surgery for breast cancer. I cannot be sick at this time and this hotel was very subpar with the sanitation. I alerted Sean and Jay of the smell of heavy cigarette smoke and unfortunately due to the hotel being full there was no other room left for me so I was unable to stay. I was charged $250 for the first night and I’m very sad that I had to go to Hawaii seven hour flight and then find a new hotel last minute at a different resort. It sucks that I thought everything was paid for and handled prior to my getting there and then I had to deal with a dirty room that reeked of cigarette smoke and the inability to accommodate a room that is clean without cigarettes. This is not the hotel for somebody to stay if they have any respiratory issues. It is very rundown and the facility is just very subpar the staff Shawn and Jay are absolutely phenomenal. I just feel bad that they have to work in such a subpar hotel.

Great value for the $$
Pros:

Location was simply perfect. Right in the middle of everything! Beach just across the street. Easy access to shopping, entertainment, restaurants. The hotel is older and dated and the rooms are on the small size, but the beds were very comfortable and it was clean, and as I said, perfectly located. Good value for the money in an expensive holiday city!

Good value, amenities and location
Pros:

It was good value when I booked it although circling (no pun intended) back the rates look higher.

I had an ocean view even though I was a bit sideways, the room is a bit small but well laid out. I love the RO (reverse osmosis) cold water fountain downstairs and the free DVD rentals are a nice touch. I didn't make use of them but they could be nice if you got a little too much sun or got injured or were under the weather.

Staff were friendly and helpful, beds were comfy, and the WiFi was decent.

Great beginner surfing right across the street with ample surf instructors and rentals and plenty of great places to eat and drink. I will however give the adjacent breakfast place a pass in the future because despite being across the street from the beach they are afraid of bare feet.

Great location & value right on beach.
Pros:

Amazing location next door to a McDonald’s & ABC

Cons:

Been staying here for years and has always been my favorite property in wiakiki. Now have new management company and has lost that warm family feel. Familiar faces and excellent customer service is gone ☹️. Have also done away with the affordable late check out for night flights. While still a good value for location, feels like a regular holiday hotel now.

Great location!
Pros:

Stayed here for 5 nights in January and it was lovely. It' s not right on the beach, but just across the road from it. Paid a bit extra for an ocean view room, and that's exactly what I got. The rooms are small, but definitely enough room for everything you need. Showers are small, but manageable.
The staff are really nice, and ready to help at any time. Loved that they also had a water station to enable refills.
Waikiki Circle is also close to lots of shops and eateries, and close to the Big Kahuna statue. It can be a bit noisy - street noise, AC noise (very loud), but was tolerable.
Would probably stay here again.

Waikiki Gem!
Pros:

Stayed here on a recent family trip and had a wonderful time. Only found this hotel through local friends who knew this to be one of the best locations in Waikiki. The property is old but clean and well maintained, and the staff is full of aloha. We knew the parking garage was limited so we opted to go carless on our 3 day stay. Good choice as Waikiki was fun to explore on foot, and a few short Uber rides got us to nearby shopping and tourist spots.

Best part though was just relaxing at the beach and in our room. We were in 2 rooms on the 8th floor and both had wonderful panoramic ocean and beach views. We had perfect weather, so we spent a lot of time just sitting and relaxing on the balcony.

Don't think we could have made a better choice for our Waikiki stay. Highly recommend!

Great location but fairly basic.
Pros:

Waikiki Circle Hotel is exactly as described - the curved rooms circle the central lift and stairs. The rooms are very small, especially for three people, but this is a relatively cheaper hotel than many in the heart of Waikiki. Excellent location if you want to be close to the action day and night, but it is showing its age. If you get an ocean view room, the views are wonderful. It is not a resort in any way that I could see - no pool (although there is a rather famous beach across the road!) no spas, restaurants, etc, but it’s a good simple base from which to explore Waikiki. If you are a fan of retro design, you'll love it. The staff are really helpful and friendly. There’s a cafe on the street downstairs and surfboards can be hired.
