Pros:

Buona posizione, parcheggio grande e gratuito all’aperto. Colazione abbondante e camere ampie.
Utile anche se a pagamento il servizio di late check out. Ristorante discreto ma davvero troppo caro.

Cons:

Camere vetuste e prive di manutenzione. Spugne di scarsa qualità e terribile odore di zolfo proveniente dai rubinetti del bagno.

Good resting place after a cruise before home.

Very good and better than most of our accommodation on a long trip
Pros:

I liked the comfortable beds, heavenly after a night flight from Toronto arriving at 7am in the morning. The structure of the hotel is lovely, the big atrium with snacks at all times of the day was great. The restaurant was pleasant.

Cons:

gym equipment could have been better serviced, there were two vital pieces of equipment not functioning

Location. Close to a bus route. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Poor maintenance in bathroom. Shower curtain rail kept falling down. Was only a pressure rail which is wrong type for hotel. Water kept pouring out around curtain. Shower head/hand held unit was broken. Clearly the hotel housekeeping would have known this as it was laying in the tub. No bath anti slip mat which are mandatory in hotel if bottom of bath tub is not treated to be anti-slip. Hotel needs to do much better.

Großbaustelle direkt am Gebäude!
Pros:

Großes Zimmer. Keine Geräusche von Zimmernachbarn zu hören, mit Ausnahme von erbärmlich lautem knarrenden Stühlerücken über uns.

Gutes Frühstück (sehr gute Tees und viel Obst). Frühstücksservice sehr freundlich)b. Frühstück nur bis 10:00, könnte gerne bis 10:30 gehen.
Sehr gut abdunkelnder Vorhang
Leise Entlüftung durchs Badezimmer. Kleines Fenster zum Öffnen.
Einige Zimmer mit sehr ruhiger Lage (unseres diesmal leider nicht)

Cons:

Baustelle direkt hinterm Haus. Zum Glück waren wir Samstag bis Montag da.
Ich hatte nach einem Zimmer nach hinten gefragt, weil mir vor allem die Ruhe wichtig war.
Dann war es im 3. Stock zur Baustelle (Betonmischer stand Montag um 7:00 vorm Fenster) und auf der Seite, wo die Straße seitlich ums Gebäude biegt.

Wir hatten nach einem kostenpflichtigen Checkout bis 15:00 gefragt.
Erst wurde uns gesagt: geht nicht, das Haus ist zu voll. Auf Booking waren aber viele Zimmer frei.
Als wir nochmals gefragt haben ging es dann doch. Kurz vor 15:00 war auch ein Grossaufgebot an Raumpflegern da.
Die Icelandair hat sehr ungewöhnliche Flugzeiten, da muss man sich als "Grand Hotel" schon flexibel zeigen.

Für die Baustelle kann das Hotel nichts, aber dann erwarte ich ein sehr freundliches Entgegenkommen.
Anscheinend legt man keinen großen Wert auf die Zufriedenheit der Gäste, da die meisten nur einmal im Leben nach Island reisen.

Badtüre knarzt in den Angeln. Keine Klobürste.
Matratze grenzwertig weich. Kein Leselicht am Bett, nur ein fahle Nachtischlampe ( An dem Punkt scheitern aber viele Hotels).
