Beautiful luxurious hotel in perfect location
Pros:

I loved the hotel upon arrival very airy and spacious and had a luxurious feel. My room was on the first floor and was perfect for what I needed for the 3 nights. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever had at a hotel and I had a fridge and a tv with English channels.
You can buy provisions from reception such as water sandwiches wine toothbrush etc.
The breakfast was fantastic and lots of hot and cold options available
Location was good as one of the designated stops for tours flybus etc which made it very easy to arrange pick ups etc. Also bus stops very close to hotel to take you to all the main sights
I loved this hotel all the staff were so lovely and welcoming and gave me advice to take in the scenery by walking along the waterfront on the first day
Very comfortable stay

Cons:

The floors in my bedroom could have been cleaner but small complaint as everything else wonderful

It’s comfortable but not close to downtown, used for large cruise lines pax.

Cons:

Our I’m was half the size of the room we had Monday 17th on the opposite side of the hotel, no air conditioning, worn out hall carpet

It’s too far from walking downtown access.

The stay is good.
Pros:

Good breakfast. Good varieties.

Cons:

Booking.com made an error on our breakfast booking and we had to pay additional $112 for the breakfasts during our stay. We booked and paid with Booking.com, a room for 2 people with breakfasts for our 4 nights stay. Yet Booking.com only only put 1 person in the breakfast information to the hotel. We didn't realize this expecting reasonable booking would indicate a room for 2 people would also mean breakfast for 2 people. The hotel wouldn't settle our account unless we pay for the additional charge. We had no choice but to pay for it. Booking.com should compensate for this charge and reimburse us.

Very clean and well equipped hotel. Nice happy hour (4-6pm) buzz. Fantastic breakfast selection, good sized rooms and friendly staff.

Cons:

It is a good 45 minute walk to downtown Reykjavik and was quite expensive (like everywhere in Reykjavik though)

I would not recommend.
Pros:

Convenient to cruise terminal.

Cons:

Room was very beat up. Needs lots of updates. Registration staff not friendly; acted put out that she had to check us in.
