Beautiful rooms, Aegean views, hot tub, but with a couple of issues. Overall I would stay here again
Pros:

The room was wonderful- it had a sea view, there was a bottle of wine to welcome, a hot tub, beautiful amenities, bathrobes, etc- in other words a very high end stay which I thoroughly enjoyed. I used the hot-tub once and it was lovely- it was on the balcony and you could watch the stars and gaze over the sea and it was very, very private. I can imagine that it would be ideal for honeymooners. The fact that was breakfast was included and the price was reasonable made it a very enjoyable stay. I would stay here again, just in a different room,

Cons:

Room 15 had electricity poles and wire transmitters running right overhead. In a lot of countries you would not be able to build that close to them. I lay on the bed, savoring the beautiful room and after 30 min I felt I was quivering from inside my body. As an environmental specialist for over 25yrs I am always aware of electro-magnetic waves and in fact sometimes measure them with my instruments which I didn't have. I moved to the sofa and immediately the quivering (a kind of jumping in my skin) stopped. I have had that reaction before to high EMF. I asked to change the room but none was available so spent the nights (2) on the Sofa and that was fine but not preferable. The breakfast was good but not excellent, the service was very good, the location nice except while it says it is in OIA, it is really quite aways from the main areas in OIA overlooking the caldera--what you are looking at is the Aegean Sea-- I had no problems with that but you will need a car to get to the main places (8 min away drive) and thankfully I had rented a car. I would stay there again but a) with a car and b) a different room

Petit déjeuner à volonté, c’était parfait.
L’emplacement était aussi très bien avec une belle vue.
La piscine privé était très belle et propre mais l’eau était froide.

Our stay at Danae Suites was truly unforgettable. We absolutely loved our Superior Suite — spacious, full of natural light, and beautifully designed with Cycladic charm and modern comfort. The natural materials, soft curves, and serene color palette created a calm, romantic atmosphere. The private hot tub and thoughtful amenities made it feel luxurious yet relaxed, and waking up to those dreamy views of the Aegean was pure magic.

The location was perfect — just a short walk from Oia, yet tucked away in the peaceful village of Finikia. It offered the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already dreaming of returning.

The staff were exceptional — warm, kind, and always eager to help with anything we needed, from local recommendations to private transfers and car rentals. A big thank-you to Christian, Theodora, and Vasiliki for making our stay so special!

Pros:

Excelente opção. Local muito tranquilo e com vista. Equipe muito simpática e atenciosa. Com estacionamento fácil. Muito mais agradável do que ficar no caos de Fira ou Oia.

Cons:

Degraus em alguns quartos, não ideal para pessoas de idade e um dos quartos era um pouco escuro (iluminação poderia ser melhorada).

Beautiful hidden gem close to Oia
Pros:

The hotel is very clean, the ambiance of the place is peaceful and tranquil. It’s a perfect getaway for those who want to be away from the crowd in Oia. I had a fabulous 5 night stay at this hotel, and I have to say from the staff, to the hotel room I stayed in, everything was great! Would definitely stay here again. Finikia town is only 5 mins walk from hotel with lovely restaurants and only 20 mins drive to Fira and Oia.

Cons:

Nothing- my stay was exceptional.

Een rustig, verzorgd verblijf net buiten Oia, met oog voor detail en oprechte gastvrijheid.
Pros:

Rustig gelegen in Finikia, net buiten het drukke Oia. Een fijne balans tussen rust en levendigheid. De suite was ruim en netjes ingericht, met een privé terras op de ochtendzon met uitzicht op de land en hot tub met middag en avondzon en uitzicht op zee, maakten ons verblijf extra fijn. Het personeel was warm en attent, altijd beschikbaar zonder opdringerig te zijn. Elke ochtend begon met een vers ontbijtbuffet en a la carte, geserveerd met zorg. Het zwembad was een rustige plek om te ontspannen, met comfortabele ligbedden en uitzicht op de zee.

Cons:

Niets viel tegen. Alleen maar rust en aandacht.

Perfect gateway for family and friends
Pros:

The staff are very cooperative and always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are spacious and they gave complementary wine when we checked in the room. We checked in late after midnight and checked out early 4.30 in the morning. They helped it all the way with smooth check in and check out.
The complementary breakfast menu was huge and chef is one of the greatest. The location is a bit uphill and 30 mins walking distance to great caldera view at Oia. There is Finikini bus stop nearby, but better to walk rather than waiting for bus.
Overall nice stay with great sea view, comfy rooms, nice menu and always smiling staff.

Cons:

Location is a bit uphill and may be difficult for the people with less mobility.
