Columbus Grand Hotel & Banquet Center

This place is horrendous bugs were
everywhere. The staff did nothing to assist. Expedia and Hotels.com should immediately remove from website. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The sink was clogged up, tv remote was not compatible with tv so I had to use my phone, there was a set of ridiculous rules that shouldn’t be exist considering the quality of the room, freezer had dirty ice stored in it, Best part was the bed being comfortable.

The room had roaches in the drawers. The tv did not work...

The Expedia ad for this place is very misleading. The only thing to say about this place is a step up for the homeless. And that's an insult to the homeless.

The property outside was terrible! When walking in I waited at the check in counter for over 5 minutes no one was there and decided to leave due to it being filthy, the pictures posted look nothing like the place ( pictures are way nicer) would not recommend this place to anyone!

We had to leave early had roaches , but everything else was great

Well the ice machine downstairs was broken you had to go upstairs to get ice. But I'm handicapped I Don't do stairs. Then I seen roaches later that night and prayed I didn't take any home. Only stayed 1 night after that.

Absolutely disgusting place only would stay in case of emergencies

While the room was clean, the stairwell to the 2nd floor smelled like the back end of a barn. The lady at the desk when I checked in was nice, but when I was checking out, I stood at the counter for several minutes (alone) before someone helped me. It was a good visit for the price, but I wasn't "wowed."

The property approved the stay even though the person who booked was under 21, but could not issue any accommodations. Additionally, staff wasn't the nicest and the surrounding area was pretty dangerous.

So besides the fact that my sheets had cigarette burns in them, the paint was chipping off everything, the plastic baseboard was peeling off the wall, screws were missing on the TV so it was in a fixed downward tilt, several various bugs crawling in and on my bed, the domestic violence that was occurring at the entrance to the hotel, the smell of weed in my non-smoking room upon entry.....yeah....you get what you pay for, but what you pay for doesn't go far these day either. Oh and the communal microwave was missing when I went to reheat my dinner....so either some one stole it or management took it to prevent it from being stolen. I get a hotel in Columbus almost every year for a convention and I try different hotels each time. In 14 years, this is by far the worst hotel I have ever been to. I just wish I decided to take pictures before leaving to showcase just how terrible it really is.

Need faster service at front desk...2 0 people waiting and was late to an event

We drove 6 hours away for a concert and we had to drive back because our room was full of bugs

Disgustingly horrible not clean at all stayed in the non-smoking side, but it smelled like cigarette place is truly filthy. Horrible horrible place to stay, but if you can’t find nothing else and you got 50 bucks then that’s the place.
