The location is terrific. The staff is great and friendly. The overall cleanliness could be improved in the room. Suggestion: adjust the door slamming. The room doors slam very loudly when closed, unless one holds the door to close quietly.

Ok for a weekend trip to Encinitas
Pros:

Walking distance to great coffee and restaurants. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Didn’t have the complimentary breakfast so can’t speak to it. Coffee maker in room (no tea). Good parking.

Cons:

Our shower was out of shower gel and and conditioner. We asked in the morning to have it refilled, and were told it would be done during housekeeping. Shower gel was refilled, but conditioner dispenser was still not dispensing conditioner. We got new towels but not other housekeeping. You can’t plug anything into the outlet in the bathroom because the mirror is in the way, and the bathroom door won’t stay open to air out after a shower. Piddly things.

Worst experience ever. Dirty room with mold. We had to leave the same evening.

Nothing. Worst experience ever. There was mold, and the room was so dirty that we had to leave and find another hotel. The manager refused to refund our booking.

Cons:

We did not end up staying here. The room was extremely dirty, and there was mold. It was the worst hotel room I have ever seen. You could feel the mold in your lungs, and it was impossible to sleep there. We had to leave the hotel at 9 pm and find somewhere else to stay. Please look at the attached photos before you book.
