Beautiful rooms, fantastic staff, great location, excellent cocktail bar and stunning breakfast. Wonderful

THe location, staff and breakfast were supberb. My parents travelled for a special birthdaty and the staff went above and beyond to make the trip special. All very much appreciated.

Établissement très propre, très agréable. Un personnel d'une gentillesse et a l écoute. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait. La décoration est soignée et tres belle , très calme .
On est chouchouté du début jusqu'à la fin.

Das Hotel hat einen sehr besonderen Stil, in wirklich jedem Detail, geschaffen und bringt einen dadurch, bereits beim Eintritt, in eine andere Zeit. Es ist ein bisschen magisch, genau wie in den Josefine Geschichten, die man dort lesen kann. Danke für all diese Feinheiten.
Danke auch für das wunderbare Frühstück, das noch an den Tisch gebracht wird von sehr freundlichen Menschen und Danke für die Flasche Wein am Zimmer, die ich jeweils an den Abenden sehr genoss.

Sehr modernes und stylisches Hotel! Das Frühstück (á la carte) ist außergewöhnlich und das Personal, egal ob Service, Rezeption (besonders) oder Zimmerservice, ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Should I ever return to Vienna for work and they offer to arrange a hotel, I’ll politely decline and book Die Josephine in a heartbeat.

Die Josephine is a beautifully designed hotel with a distinct 1920s style. From the entrance to the lobby - with its soft jazz playing in the background - and all the way to the rooms, there’s a clear commitment to the theme, and it’s executed exceptionally well.

The breakfast is also excellent. The croissants are delicious, the bread is outstanding, and the scrambled eggs are perfectly cooked. Be warned - you might leave a little heavier than you arrived.
If I stayed at Die Josephine any longer, I feel like I’d start writing plays or take up painting. It’s that kind of inspiring place.

The rooms? Absolutely flawless. Immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and unbelievably comfortable — I slept better here than I have in months. The attention to detail is on another level, from the lighting to the textures to the overall vibe. Everything just feels right. And the staff? Beyond exceptional. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your stay unforgettable. You’re not treated like a guest — you’re treated like someone they truly care about.

The breakfast setup at this hotel should quite literally be the golden standard for ALL hotels worldwide. No exaggeration. It’s not just food, it’s an experience. Everything is beautifully presented, fresh, and curated with such care that it sets the tone for your entire day. You don’t just grab breakfast — you enjoy it, slowly, intentionally, like a ritual. I found myself looking forward to waking up just for this.

Die Lage ist perfekt! Museen, der 6. und 7. Bezirk alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Hotel selbst ist ein zauberhafter Ort! Verwinkelt, verwunschen, jedes Zimmer anders und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sehr sauber und das Personal unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren absolut begeistert. Einfach märchenhafte Einrichtung und ein toller Ort, verborgen mitten in Wien.
