We had a great stay at Alohilani, our housekeeper was Ben. He was a beautiful person who always went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We stayed in an ocean view room overlooking the ocean. It was spectacular (a little noisy though from the street).
The breakfast was extremely overpriced
Customer service was extremely poor
If you are into breathing mold spores, this is the hotel for you. Looking for blood-stained and ill-fitted sheets? Also the place for you. Room that was supposedly clean with leftover food in the corner, also checks the box. Enjoy!

Oh, the elevators have very long wait times. It takes quite a while to get your elevator to go up or down.

Cleaningservice hat öfters z.B. die Kaffeebecher oder die Badematte und leider auch das Klopapier vergessen aufzufüllen. Das wurde aber auf Anfrage schnell nachgeliefert bzw. behoben. Die Sauberkeit an sich: 👍
Shannon in the sales office is fantastic a true gem, and PT at the front desk is just as wonderful! The entire team at the Longboard Lounge truly stands out—both the morning and evening crews are consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. What really makes the difference is how they recognize my family every time we visit—it makes us feel valued and at home.

Amelita and housekeeping was very kind in helping me, several times, with my coffee machine, even though she was very busy with another room.
We spent a 7 day stay here and it was amazing! Laura the server at the bar on the 5th floor was just amazing!! So attentive and friendly. She anticipated our needs and we had the best day poolside thanks to her attentiveness. If I could give her and this establishment more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend and if you get her as a server consider yourself lucky.
The hotel’s aquarium and lobby area was stunning. The pool area was nice but limited space especially on the weekend.
Longboard not worth it - food is mediocre and is only open for breakfast and then for dinner.
