Staff all very helpful. Really near rhe beach. Free beach chair and umbrella could be collected from 3 blocks away. Upgraded room was perfect with a small balcony and good view of beach

Cons:

Our room wasn't ready 15 mins before check-in, We opted to upgrade to a partial sea view and waited over 2 hours for our room to be ready despite being told it was being cleaned. Did give us some vouchers for 1 complimentary breakfast and 2 drinks.

Alles bestens! Sehr freundlicher Service, alles lief reibungslos und die Qualität war top. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen. Gerne wieder!

Cons:

Das Einzige, was etwas gestört hat, war die Lautstärke, da die Fenster nicht richtig schließen und dadurch Geräusche von draußen zu hören sind. Für geräuschempfindliche Personen könnte das etwas störend sein. Für mich persönlich war es aber nicht weiter dramatisch.

The hotel looks beautiful in the promotional photos, but our actual experience was completely different.

Cons:

This was, without question, the worst hotel experience of our entire honeymoon in the United States.

We arrived in Honolulu excited to begin the Hawaii portion of our honeymoon, expecting a beautiful resort experience based on the hotel’s photographs, presentation, and reputation.

What we encountered instead was an incredibly disappointing and unpleasant reality.

First, the cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable.

We discovered what appeared to be pubic hair in the bathroom and shower area. Finding this in a hotel room is disturbing under any circumstances, but at a property presenting itself as an upscale resort, it is simply inexcusable.

It immediately made us question the standard of cleaning and hygiene throughout the room.

Second, the room itself was a major disappointment.

It felt extremely small, cramped, and nothing like the spacious, luxurious accommodation we had imagined from the hotel’s online presentation.

To make matters worse, we were assigned a room with a connecting door to the neighboring room.

This was particularly disappointing for us as a couple on our honeymoon. We wanted privacy, peace, and a comfortable environment, not the feeling of sharing our personal space with strangers on the other side of a connecting door.

Third, the arrival experience was equally disappointing.

I had to carry our luggage myself all the way to our room on the 14th floor.

After a long journey to Hawaii, this was hardly the welcoming, relaxing experience we expected from a resort of this category.

The biggest issue was the enormous gap between expectations and reality.

The hotel photographs create the impression of a beautiful, luxurious tropical resort. Unfortunately, our actual experience felt far removed from that image.

The combination of poor cleanliness, an uncomfortable room, a connecting door, and a disappointing arrival experience made us feel that we had made a terrible mistake choosing this property.

Das Hotel ist an sich ist nicht schlecht, lag dennoch hinter unseren Erwartungen wenn man vorallem Preise, Lage und die 5 Sterne bedenkt.
Meerblick ist nicht Meerblick sondern seitlicher Meerblick - kein Weltuntergang, aber nervt. Vorallem wenn man dafür Aufpreis zahlt.
Es gibt zwar einen großen Flatscreen im Zimmer, auf dem läuft aber nur Pay-TV und kein Netflix geschweige denn Amazon prime. 25$ pro Film sind auch mehr als happig.
Das Frühstück gibts am Pool, man findet irgendwie immer einen Platz aber es ist immer irgendwie grade noch so etwas frei. Frühstück á la carte gegen Voucher. Und dann gibts Kaffee aus dem Plastikbecher - im 5 Sterne Hotel. Hat mich genervt.
Die Bilder mit denen geworben wird sind alle in einem sepraten "Longboard Club" entstanden - für Normale Gäste kein Zugang.
Die Klimaanlagen sind gefühlt so laut wie ein LKW Motor.


Uns hat Oahu gefallen, das Hotel war nicht schlecht aber für den Preis würde wir auf keinen Fall wieder buchen.

I booked it thinking it would be a romantic gesture, but it really wasn’t our cup of tea. The hotel has a lot of amenities but we didn’t use any of them. The slider was hard to open and there was some mold in the ice room.
