If Matera is supposed to be the highlight of your trip, maybe you should consider booking another place
Pros:

Excellent location, the room was clean, breakfast was fine

Cons:

The hotel is perfectly located, overlooking the scenic hills, but we didn’t get to enjoy this because the room had no window and no sitting corner in front (they could have easily arranged that, multiple cave locations in town do it). Very bad air inside despite of a (quite loud) humidifier which had to constantly stay on. On a warm day, the humidifier was set on ‘heat’ and the reception explained us that the heating cannot be turned off, so despite of several remotes on the walls, the temperature was impossible to regulate. The result was 28 degrees at night - combined with the humidity it meant no sleep for the whole family after 3am. This could have been understandable for a regular AirBnB (after all, it is a cave indeed), but it’s not OK for a very expensive ‘suit with jacuzzi’ in a 4-star-hotel (not to mention the jacuzzi was also not fully functional - some things got fixed by a nice guy upon our arrival, others we had to figure ourselves…). I hope the staff will take this complaint in a constructive way - they really need to lower the expectations, describe honestly that the suite has no window, no view and no proper ventilation, and balance the price-quiality ratio accordingly so this doesn’t feel like a tourist trap.

Bom atendimento dos funcionários e excelente estrutura e localização.
Pros:

Hotel limpo, muito bonito e confortável, no meio das pedras de Matera, é como se hospedar num cenário de filme. Funcionários extremamente atenciosos, chegamos em um dia de chuva nos ajudaram com as malas desde a praça central até o hotel, emprestaram guarda-chuvas, nos deram boas dicas sobre a cidade, sempre solícitos e simpáticos, tudo perfeito mesmo!

Cons:

W przypadku kiedy przyjeżdza sie samochodem trzeba ponieść koszt parkingu 20 euro i taxi w 2 strony 30 euro. Rezem ekstra koszt 50 euro. Slabe śniadanie, poplamiona posciel wiec jak na 4* to slabo.

Lieliska vieta Matērā!
Pros:

Agradable estadía
Pros:

Habitación muy amplia, cómoda. La atención de Samir, quien fue quien acarreó todas nuestras valijas fue excelente. El día que nos fuimos estaba puntualmente esperando a pesar de que era muy temprano en la madrugada, para subirnos el equipaje.

Cons:

El desayuno podría mejorar. Difícil de llegar, hay que pagar un taxi para que te lleve al hotel, luego subir y bajar muchas escaleras. Cuando dejamos el hotel, al irnos antes de las 8 am tuvimos que pagar el doble del precio del taxi. La fotos están un poquito maquilladas
