Breakfast was good with a decent variety of options.
I stayed at Hilton Beijing from March 31 to April 5 with two children, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing and far below expectations.
I informed the hotel in advance that I would arrive late in the evening, and they confirmed it would not be a problem. However, while I was already traveling, they sent messages saying the hotel was overbooked and asked me to confirm my arrival. When I arrived late at night after a long trip from the airport, I was not given the room I had booked.
I reserved a 34 m² room suitable for two children with an extra bed. Instead, I was placed in the old wing in a very small room (around 15–16 m²). The room was outdated, had an unpleasant smell, and once the extra bed was added there was almost no space to move — less than 20 cm between beds. When I asked to be moved to the booked category, I was told there were no options. I was also told I might be charged penalties if I decided to leave, even though the hotel did not provide the room I paid for.
The next morning I was told I would be moved to the new wing, but later I was again placed in the old wing. The second room was slightly larger (around 20–22 m²) but still old, worn, and not matching the booked category. I chose this hotel based on the photos showing renovated rooms, but in reality I was accommodated in the old wing with smaller rooms. This felt misleading.
Communication at the reception was very poor. Staff changed daily, and each time I had to explain everything again. Promises were not followed through, and no one took responsibility.
Housekeeping was unacceptable. During my entire 5-day stay:
• the room was not properly cleaned
• no vacuuming or wet cleaning
• bedding was never changed
• dust accumulated in the room
• trash was left in the bathroom
On the fifth day I had to go to reception and ask whether rooms are cleaned at all.

Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Van de concierge tot de balie medewerkers, tot de schoonmakers.
Mooi zwembad, altijd een badmeester aanwezig. Ook daar alles netjes en goed onderhouden.
Werkzaamheden waren tot op onze verdieping te horen. Dat was echt irritant.
En in de nacht was er een geluidje te horen, maar we konden niet plaatsen waar het vandaan kwam. Hield ons wel wakker. Leek soms de touw van een wapperend vlag die op de paal slaat, maar dat was het niet.
Er was bij de koffiehoek geen prullenbak.
En er waren kasten onder de koffiehoek die je niet normaal kon openen. Ging met erg veel moeite.
Temperatuur in de kamer was niet goed in te stellen.

I have stayed at Hilton Beijing once again this year, and every time I visit, I feel nothing but joy and comfort. The team here is incredibly warm and welcoming, and their help is always delivered to an exceptional standard, making me feel right at home.

Worst experience so far. After a long flight ✈️ from Bangalore, India 🇮🇳 to Beijing, China 🇨🇳 arrived at the hotel at 16.00 hours (Check in time was supposed to be 15.00 hours) the room was not ready till 17.30 hours 🥲🙃
