Very poor service!

Cons:

I stayed at Hotel Seven in Villach from April 30 to May 1, 2026. I stayed at 15 other hotels during my trip as well; this one happened to be the most expensive of the lot.
There was nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but the restaurant service was absolutely terrible. Or rather, the behavior of one particular waiter was baffling and completely substandard. After finishing my meal, I asked for the bill, and this "waiter" went off to handle it. The bill didn't arrive, and I waited for a while, but the guy found other things to do—like straightening tablecloths at other tables. He paced back and forth across the dining room but failed to bring the bill. Then other customers arrived; naturally, he went to serve them, leaving me waiting even longer. Still no bill, so I got up and told another waiter that they could come to my room to collect the payment. He tried his best to help, but my table apparently wasn't in his assigned area. While he was at the register, that incompetent waiter stormed over, looking angry, and took over the task. I believe it took at least half an hour before I finally managed to pay.
On my way back to my room, I mentioned the incident to the receptionist. He was very surprised, but surprise doesn't help if things aren't handled properly. He tried to explain that there were only two waiters and suggested the delay might have been due to that. I can assure you that wasn't the reason, given that there was plenty of time to straighten tablecloths and flit around the dining room without ever settling the bill. There were few customers, so that doesn't explain the slowness either.
You have to understand who pays that server's wages—ultimately, it’s the customer.
To sum up, I’d say it was the worst service of the entire trip.

Al om 7.30 uur bouwerkzaamheden begonnen.Ik had van tevoren gevraagd hoelaat.Bericht van hun gekregen dat ze om 8.30 uur zouden beginnen.Info klopt dus niet.
