Over all it was a good stay and I would stay here again but without any pets.
Pros:

Very clean rooms!!

Cons:

This is a pet friendly hotel and dogs are gonna bark. Some guests complained about my dog barking. My dog would bark when someone walked down the hall. I had to take my dogs with me when I went out.

Wyndham Does Up the Lighting at the La Quinta
Pros:

I liked the TV, the granite window sill, the wifi, the color of the simulated wood grain on the millwork.

Cons:

I didn't like the gap around the room door, the showerpan flooding the bathroom when I showered; I didn't like pork being the only meat option at breakfast.

The hotel is in close proximity to the airport, which made things easy as we were in town to attend a wedding that was 10 minutes away. The girl who was on shift at our arrive at 7pm, was so so kind and very helpful!

Cons:

When we arrived back after a quick check in, I noticed BOOGERS, literal giant boogers on the wall next to my side of the bed, absolutely DISGUSTING. How does something like this go unseen? I don’t understand. It doesn’t let me post videos which show it better, but I did post a photo. The overnight gentlemen on Thursday night didn’t seem like he wanted to be there and was not kind, as this happened night one, and barely seemed like he wanted to change our room. We transferred to the complete opposite side of the hotel and yet there was still things on the walls in the restroom. This was very frustrating and truly disgusting. Normally, I would have checked out but frankly we didn’t have the time for that with the busy wedding weekend. They also didn’t inform us the shuttle goes to another property prior to heading to the airport, and they came to us first which we are closest to the airport over Aloft… so not only was the frustrating considering we are just a skip away, it also added unwarranted 15 minutes to our shuttle that should of taken 5 minutes at best. They need to switch the route because that made absolutely no sense.

A Convenient and Comfortable Overnight Stay
Pros:

My flight was delayed, so I unexpectedly had to stay overnight without my luggage. The room was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable night. I could even buy a toothbrush and toothpaste at the hotel, which was very convenient. It was also great that the hotel provided free transfers both from the airport and back to the airport. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of options, and after a good night's rest and breakfast, I was ready to continue my journey. A great option when you need a comfortable and convenient overnight stay!
