The staff was very friendly; breakfast was good.
I paid for my stay in February 2026 when I booked through Booking.com. When I returned home, the hotel emailed a receipt, which charged me again and they added parking and two parking taxes. I did not have a vehicle at the facility. I called and told the staff person who answered the phone. He stated the receipt should have been sent to booking.com. I asked him to delete the extra $30+ that was sent to me.
I have visited this hotel numerous times in the past few years and have found it to be be a comfortable stay. So, when I go to Chicago his is where I stay. The staff are very attentive and always make my stay a pleasant one. A special attention goes to the manager Ms. Syidell Patterson and staff member Jessica Cadera who always take care of issues whenever they arise. The staff in the dining area, especially Ms.Yareli, are also willing to help and greet you with a smile. Housekeeping is always quietly hard at work to maintain the cleanliness of your room. So, for now Fairfield Inn is my Home Away for Home!
Extra towels were there for the pool, nice and spacious room for 2 adults, 1 child. Breakfast was nice too.
Hopefully there will be more seating space for breakfast in the future and possibly a bigger pool for multiple families to use.
They charged me for a smoke alarm and I wasn't smoking still trying to get my money back

The walls are thin you can hear into other rooms and the lobby had kids EVERYWHERE playing in the halls and lobby.
Guest having to pay for parking is wild and needs to be put on the website. If I knew I had to pay for parking i would have patronized some place else.

a different hotel in the same area. Very deceptive.

Room was comfortable. Shuttle service to the airport was good.
We arrived at 10 pm and tired with only 5.5 hrs to sleep before an early flight at Midway. But the Reception clerk said she did not have our reservation. 30 mins and 2 phone calls later, it turned out she had it. Our name had been incorrectly spelled. Then at 11:30 p.m. she called our room and woke us up to say she needed a registration paper we had taken with our room key card. We did not have the paper. She insisted We insisted. She looked again on her counter and found it.
I love those experience. The staff was very nice The facility was very clean and the kids love the pool. It was my son 8 birthday I will recommend anybody to stay there
