Nice Hotel. I would be ha ppy to get back
Pros:

Professionality and kindness of personnel. Nice restaurant with good choices and affordable menus. Everything perfectly clean. Comfortable beds. Very nice and huge terrace in front of the Nile.

Cons:

Enjoying the swimming and resting after tours was not easy as they were improving the swimming pool área and...you can imagine how much noise It means 😊

A welcoming hotel with excellent staff, but the relentless surrounding construction made it impossible to relax.
Pros:

The interior of the hotel was attractive, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were warm, hospitable and genuinely eager to please, and they were easily the best part of our stay. The hotel was also conveniently located for exploring Luxor and its historic sites.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the hotel was quite literally surrounded by construction work—to the front and on both sides. Our supposed side Nile view directly overlooked one of the major construction sites. The noise continued from approximately 8am until 9pm, making it impossible to relax either by the pool or in our room. The extent of the surrounding construction and disruption wasn’t made sufficiently clear when we booked.

The pool also had damaged tiles, and our son cut his toe on one. Although there were several dining options, we found the quality of the food disappointing. Overall, while the hotel’s interior was pleasant, the construction made the environment anything but relaxing and seriously affected our stay.

We loved our stay and hope we can return one day
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Sonesta St. George in Luxor. First, the staff as a whole is so warm, welcoming, professional, and helpful. I can’t fully express how amazing they are. I can’t name everyone but I will name a few people who made our stay extra special - Wahid, Mohammad, Malik (reception), Hany and Clara (travel agency/excursion booking), Elia (driver arranged by Hany who we had for three days), Nagha (Pool). The housekeeping staff was also fantastic - always available to help us with whatever we needed.
Our room had a balcony and beautiful view of the Nile. Facing west, we watched several sunsets from our balcony.
The location is excellent. We walked to Luxor Temple several times. There are restaurants in the hotel and also nearby and it’s easy to catch a cab in front of the hotel if you need one.

Lo mejor de Luxor.
Pros:

Fue lo mejor de Luxor, la atención de su personal fue increíble, desde recibirnos con bebidas y frutas al llegar y al despedirnos. La decoración del hotel es preciosa, tiene tiendas de todo tipo, y las habitaciones son amplias y con vistas espectaculares al Nilo. Además, la comida del restaurante es deliciosa, comimos pasta y una sopa marina. Finalmente, disfrutamos de la piscina y nos engrieron con bebidas y fruta nuevamente. Definitivamente volveremos. Gracias a Mohammed por su amabilidad y calidez desde el primer contacto, y a Nardine por su consideración.

Construction Site Avoid
Cons:

There was continual construction, jack hammers, drilling, concrete. There was a construction site inside the perimeter of the hotel and another construction site on the neighbouring block. Everywhere outside was covered in grit,the pool was dirty due to the construction grit, I could not sit outside, I could not use balcony and furniture, covered in grit and the noise from 8am in the morning until 4pm in the afternoon every single day of a two week stay. No warning, hotel offered to move my room but the noise and dusting of concrete dust everywhere remained so there was no point. The works have been going on for some time so the hotel knew but did not inform anyone, several other guests checked out after one night. I have taken videos daily

Pros:

El personal fue muy amable, todos. La habitación muy cómoda y grande. La cama realmente cómoda . Solo comimos en el italiano y nos pareció muy bueno y no muy caro. El desayuno de los mejores que probamos. La zona de la piscina nos pareció excepcional. La verdad es que calidad precio me parece imbatible. Además, nos ofrecieron habitación superior sin coste. Gracias por todo!
