I stayed at Hyatt Place Orlando / Lake Buena Vista about two months ago, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out, always ready to assist with any questions at +1-888-411-7077.
The room was spacious, well-maintained, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options each morning.
The location was excellent, with easy access to Orlando's major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations, and I would gladly recommend Hyatt Place Orlando / Lake Buena Vista to anyone visiting the area. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Orlando.
This location is currently under repairs. The pool wasn't working and there were no free weights in the fitness room, just treadmill and peloton bike. The location of the hotel is good, close to restaurants and Disney Springs. Just know that things seemed in disarray June 2026.
Everything was clean and the service is exceptional. Phillip at the front desk went out of his way to help everyone and was able to resolve my issues efficiently while still being personable and providing excellent customer service. I watched him improve the stay/resolve issues for at least 3 other guests too. Would 100% stay here again.
Being a Globalist with Hyatt primarily from staying at Hyatt House or Hyatt Place properties, I was disappointed in this location. There were things that just should be taken care of like the dresser drawers would not stay closed, I brought up the door deadlock, and it worked for 1 day only. They are renovating the hotel so hopefully some of these things change in the near future.
Location was great, value could have been but all the remodeling they're doing, plus the slight smell in the room made it not worth it. I was unable to reach front desk by phone which was an inconvenience to have to walk downstairs.
Breakfast was great. The room was nice and clean and comfortable.. Staff was fantastic 😊😊😊
Overall this is a good property with a good location. The atmosphere is warm, pleasant and quite welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and quite good. However, when we checked in, we experienced an issue with the bathroom commode, which was overflowing and not functioning properly. Although the issue was resolved in 30 mins, such maintenance problems are not something I would expect from a Hyatt hotel.
The breakfast is satisfactory and met basic expectations. Out of the four staff members managing the front office and guest services, three were truly outstanding and provided exceptional customer service, while one staff member was unfortunately extremely disappointing.
My detailed feedback regarding the staff is provided below:
The STARS
Johnny: He is extremely welcoming and always focussed on solving customers’ problems. His body language and demeanour reflect warmth, professionalism and genuine care for guests. He made us feel value and comfortable throughout our stay.
Philip: An outstanding professional who demonstrates exceptional dedication to customer satisfaction. He is courteous, attentive and highly efficient in handling guest needs. His professionalism and positive attitude truly reflect the high standards expected from Hyatt staff.
Tatiana: An ever smiling customer service staff member who consistently greets guests with kindness and positivity. She is approachable, patient and always willing to assist, making guests feel appreciated and at ease.
The BLACK SHEEP
Jarvis: He is rude and arrogant and unfortunately staff like him damage the reputation and brand image of a hotel. On the morning of 19th May at around 620 AM…we politely asked whether we could quickly grab something to eat before leaving for our ride. This request was based on an earlier discussion with other staff members, who had informed me that although the restaurant officially starts at 630 AM, guests could request something small 5 to 10 mins earlier. Instead of responding politely, Jarvis immediately started shouting and told me to “go and ask the person who said that”….
He became aggressive and disrespectful for no reason. Even if my request could not be accommodated…he could have declined in a courteous and professional manner. What made the situation worse was that he was first rude to my young daughter and then became intimidating and disrespectful towards me when I tried to calmly explain the situation. He turned a very small issue into a completely unnecessary confrontation. This experience was deeply disappointing and has made me reconsider staying at this hotel again. Hyatt should seriously address the behaviour of staff like Jarvis, as such conduct is unacceptable in the hospitality industry..
What was disappointing that I did share my experience to the hotel management… there was no response.
