First of all we did not get the room that I reserved because it"s not ready yet when we got there and they don't"t know what time it will be ready so they put us in a different room. Secondly, I found a big roach crawling on the sink. I tried to call the help desk but no answer so we just end up staying in the same room. The manager said to call booking.com to get 25% off for my compensation. I called you guys but it's hard to talk to a live person
Finding a roach is room is not healthy. They should maintain the building well

We arrived close to 10. Asked for extra bathroom cloths stated they were out.
The breakfast was good.
There was no shampoo in the shower. There was black mold all within the shower. The bed had a big divit in the middle sonwe kept rolling to the middle of the bed all night. The fridge really didnt stay cold. The pool had so much sand and debris in it that it felt disgusting to swim in. Definitely needs to be vacuumed more than it is and better maintained.
The moment I arrived the experience was top notch. Johnny Took great care of us and our group as well as the another man at the front desk (I didn't get his name, has a beard and glasses) The room attendant/ inspector (I also failed to get her name) she really held everything to much higher standard. I manage hotels and the way I was treated by this woman really left me with a lasting impression. She was exceedingly friendly, she noticed I was looking for something and offered help. Towel exchange at the front desk, she made the exception for me and saved me time. I was blown away with every interaction. I have never been treated so well during a hotel stay. I hope she gets taken care of, I would pave the road in gold for her, finding someone with such a knack for customer service in that position is not easy. You did good Hyatt, Keep her happy! My son is autistic, the hotel pool is fully accessible and it was the highlight of our stay, he was safe in the pool and had the best time.
The elevator was slow. Waiting for the elevator was like watching paint dry.
Breakfast was good just wished it ran a bit longer. Location was perfect and in close proxy to major malls and the parks

Asked for shampoo for 3 days, never recieved!

Luck of communication with front desk
(1) The staff overall were professional and accommodating. Two in particular I wish to highlight are "Johnny" Front Desk. He ensured every step of the way that my family and I felt as though we were at home. He was so welcoming, whenever he was on duty, he ensured that all of our concerns were addressed satisfactorily. It was evident that he took pleasure in providing customer care. (2) Housekeeping Manager, "Marinez", firstly, Marinez needs to be a "greeter" she is energetic, fun, and super welcoming. I expressed my concerns regarding the cleanliness of the room; after her inspection she made it her business to reclean the room and conduct regular checks to ensure my family and I were satisfied. I've observed her being on duty for more than 12-hour days and with every encounter her attitude was always hospitable. Both she and Johnny thoroughly represented Hyatt's brand well and should be commended.
(1) The breakfast selection was poor. For the duration of our stay, there was limited breakfast variations/options. For example, no apple or banana options for fruit; only white bread or bagel; waffles were offered every morning which could have been on rotation with pancakes, no egg omelet; no pastries, no grits, no cold cuts, and the hot beverage choices were not kid friendly (hot chocolate would have been an appreciated addition). The options seemed more "Continental" in style. By day 3 of our stay, we were stalled of the same choices. I would not advertise as a "full breakfast."
(2) The elevators were very dysfunctional which caused us to take stairs more than desired, our room was situated on the 6th floor. With 6 floors and the obvious large volume of guests, 2 elevators seem insufficient.
(3) The gym facility was too small and overcrowded with treadmills. Additional machines would ensure a more wholistic workout experience.
(4) During check-in, a dirty/used Q-Tip greeted us in plain view on the carpet, and the bed sheets were soiled on one of the beds. The room was not satisfactorily cleaned. This was reported to the front desk, and an apology was given.
(5) Whenever the room was cleaned (every other day) the bathtub was never properly scrubbed.
(6) I have stayed at the Hyatt and have been accustomed to the brand which prompted my booking for my family vacation. This is not the experience I'd hoped for and certainly not what I expected from the Hyatt. My overall rating of this stay is 5/10. I am not encouraged to return again.

My family doesn't eat pork so there weren't any alternatives to the meat options. Also, they had expired sandwiches on the shelf and my husband happened to eat it by mistake!
