Beautiful, well-located hotel with stunning spaces and minor shortcomings.

Although slightly dated, it is dated in the best possible way — the hotel has a timeless charm and character that makes it truly beautiful.

From the moment you step inside, the lobby is breathtaking. The open-space atrium, complete with a fountain, panoramic elevators, restaurant, and sweeping architectural views, is simply spectacular. Everything unfolds within this grand atrium, creating an impressive and unforgettable first impression.

The amenities are wonderful. The restaurant offers an excellent buffet with a large variety of delicious dishes, catering to every taste. We spent most of our time at the outdoor bar, which felt almost magical — from the extended menu to the attentive service, it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

The location truly doesn’t get better in Port Louis. Everything is conveniently close, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a larger room, which was absolutely spectacular and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel parking was provided as well, adding another layer of convenience to an already seamless experience.

Overall, it was a memorable and charming stay, and we would gladly return.

Cons:

The check-in procedure felt unnecessarily complicated. Instead of completing the process at the main reception, we were asked to go up to another floor where the formalities were handled in a separate room offering refreshments. While the gesture was thoughtful, it seemed impractical — especially when a standard reception check-in would have been simpler and more efficient.

We also had the chance to see the pool area, which unfortunately is in clear need of refurbishment. It does not currently reflect the standards one would expect from a five-star hotel.

Although we were grateful for the complimentary room upgrade, the room was not ready upon our arrival at the official check-in time. We ended up waiting nearly an additional hour beyond the hotel’s stated policy, which was disappointing — particularly for a property of this category.

Fantastique, parfait la classe totale, très bel hôtel, très bonne emplacement, rien à dire, à part quelques personnes qui sont coincés ou bizarres, le petit déjeuner pouvait être beaucoup mieux, nous avons connu beaucoup mieux mais bon on leur pardonne

Pros:

Everything thing was exceptional from the butler to the cleaners, we really enjoyed our stay. The food was very good, but limited offerings on breakfast. Will definitely comeback
