I love the location from the hotel. We mostly walked everywhere we could! Staff was nice!
Facilities were very old, the shelves above the bed is so dangerous. I almost cut my head open when I hit it in the morning.
Unschlagbar gute zentrale Lage am Vondelpark. Wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Museumplein und zu Einkaufsstraßen, den Grachten, Restaurants und Supermärkten.
Unser Zimmer war zudem ruhig gelegen.
Alles war so, wie wir es uns erhofft haben.

La habitación no es como sale en las fotos, son muchísimo más pequeñas y no hay colchón como tal es son dos mini colchonetas una encima de la otra.

Not many restaurants and cafes nearby but we stayed for a festival south of Amsterdam so it worked well

My 3-night stay at S&A Hotel Amsterdam was unfortunately disappointing from start to finish.
The experience began before we even arrived, as there were issues with the hotel’s payment system that made completing the booking unnecessarily difficult.
Check-in was another letdown. Our room wasn’t ready until around 2.5 hours after the expected check-in time. While the hotel tried to make up for it with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, it didn’t really compensate for losing such a significant part of the afternoon.
The room itself was quite small, and although that can be expected in Amsterdam, the bed was very soft and not particularly comfortable, which affected the quality of our sleep.
The final disappointment came at check-out. We asked if the hotel could store our luggage for a few hours, but were told the luggage room was full. Rather than offering any alternative, the receptionist refused to keep our suitcase behind the reception desk, leaving us to find another solution.
Overall, this stay fell well below expectations. Between the booking issues, the delayed check-in, the uncomfortable room, and the lack of flexibility at check-out, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
Great location in central Amsterdam
Advertised as a view on the park but was in fact a basement room with a window that kind of had some light coming in. bed was not terribly comfortable
