The location was really peaceful and great to be in a smaller hotel, nice beach right nearby, restaurant and their staff were amazing, lovely young guy who cleaned my room one day was super helpful and friendly and respectful. Eco friendly.

I would definitely choose to stay here again if I am in the Waikiki area. It is a beautiful hotel on the far eastern end of Waikiki and away from the craziness (and higher cost). There is beach access nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable and ours had a balcony with views of Diamond Head and the beach. Diamond Head State Park is in walking or jogging distance of the hotel and you'll see plenty making the morning trek just outside the hotel.

Location is great! Not too far away from Waikiki but far enough where we are not affected by the foot traffic. Rooms were very spacious and didn't feel cramped, and had a wonderful time. Everyone here is wonderful, the staff are always so nice. Housekeeping was always so wonderful to talk to (Ian, Mari Sheil, Marites, George). Thank you for helping me with my stay, the rooms were always well maintained. To the front desk, thank you (Brandon, Ella, Nikki, Rhian, Katie, Yoobi) for always bringing a positive atmosphere to the hotel. It was a pleasure to always speak with you all and I hope to come again soon.

The atmosphere here is something special. It’s calm and peaceful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and cared for. Soft lights, lovely decor, gentle music throughout the main lobby. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel has a friendly vibe that makes you feel like a valued guest, not just another visitor. This was our second stay here and we were treated like family. Many thanks to management and staff, including our dear friends at reception. You are the best! And thank you to the good people in housekeeping and maintenance.

Our stay at the Lotus was amazing! The staff could not have been more kind and helpful! The location was just right for us...out of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but close enough to walk to everything. Beautiful view of the mountain and beach. Loved the beautiful park next door and close by pickleball courts. Complimentary beach chairs and towels were amazing. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Thank you Brandon, Ella, Yoo bi, Rhian, Katie, Nikki and all the staff for making our vacation so special.

I loved the staff, so friendly and supportive! Access to the beach was quick and easy! The view from my room was nothing short of amazing!! The game room was so much fun!

We had an amazing stay at the lotus Honolulu. It’s very quiet, and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious. All the Staff members are really nice. There was this one young man that was extraordinary. I believe his name was Yoobi. He had outstanding customer service. Always greeted us with a smile and was always soo helpful. From a manager of another company, Yoobi is truly a Gem of a worker!

Overall our stay at the Lotus Honolulu was great. And we will definitely be back!

Every 3 years my SIL and I visit the island and stumbled across Lotus. The location is great! Nestled away from the craziness of Waikiki, but close enough to walk or ride a bike, this hotel and location does not disappoint.
The hotel has many amenities that were helpful! Free laundry-YES PLEASE! We used their bikes daily to get around. Delicious in room espresso, robes, toiletries, a game room, spa, exercise room….its all wonderful.
Let’s review hotel staff and guests. Hotel staff is THE BEST!!! Not one negative experience with the staff. ELLA, we love you! Guests are great too!! Classy individuals who are friendly and open to conversation.

A great place if you want to be away from the crowds, beautiful views of Diamond head. Older property but spacious and clean. Nice beach close by, great for exploring zoo,Marine wildlife center and breathtaking views

From the moment we walked into the trendy and cozy lobby and received a warm Aloha welcome, we knew it would be a special place. The location was perfect - a five minute walk from Waikiki yet secluded form the crowds and noise. Our room had a breathtaking view of the balcony, where we welcomed the sunrise each morning with a cup of Illy coffee from the machine and pods provided. Every detail was thought out - from the comfortable robes and slippers, to the two luggage racks, to the beach towels and amenities, like a complimentary drink at the bar and a well equipped workout room. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, and the view of Diamond Head was breathtaking! The staff was helpful and welcoming, and the restaurant had some delicious menu items. It was a fantastic experience that we will not soon forget and made our trip relaxing and even more special. We hope to visit again very soon.

The Lotus was exceptional. The lobby was well appointed, had a cozy boutique feel, and was decorated for the holidays. We began our stay with a great welcoming experience. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable, with breathtaking views of Diamond Head right from our balcony. We were up every morning to watch the sunrise and got great pictures! The hotel restaurant had unique and delicious offerings. As guests, we received complimentary beverages at the bar. The hotel has a well equipped workout area and is a 5 - 10 minute walk from the center of Waikiki, which was so nice! The staff was always friendly and ready to help. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to many more!!

What a great place to stay. Close enough to walk to Waikiki beach and the shopping without having to live in the chaos. Staff is courteous and helpful. View from our room was spectacular. Cannot wait to come back.

Desk staff was outstanding and truly cared about making our experience the best that they could. The property however, is a dated. You can tell they are trying- like the “family room” with XBox setup and interactive indoor sports (gold, football, dodgeball, etc). But, basics are neglected. Bicycles had flat tires, bad brakes, non-working gears and were honestly unsafe.

These negatives can be fixed.meant more as constructive criticism. Don’t let them deter you from staying here. The room was amazing, clean, comfortable, well apportioned. But the real rockstars of this place are the staff. They will bend over backward to make you comfortable and happy.
