The hotel is beautifully appointed on the quiet end of the beach. We enjoyed coffee on the room balcony open with double glass doors. The whole place is clean and smells good. No pool but the kids enjoyed the ‘living room’ in the evening (when not booked for a private event). HUI car available on site for island touring.
Lotus Honolulu has always been great!! What makes this an exceptional hotel are the people, specifically, the reservation, front desk, maintenance and room cleaners. The folks are always polite, friendly and give a lot of aloha! That's the reason the family always comes back to the "Lotus" and that includes our fur babies. Mahalo!
We were very happy with our stay. The hotel was quiet, clean & not too far or too close to the hustle & bustle of Waikiki. Staff was really nice & we loved getting to use both towels & chairs during our stay.

The whole unit was wonderful, especially the master suite. The views from our balcony were 360 degrees, from Diamond Head to Honolulu and were unbeatable and the spaciousness of the unit, the fact that it was self-contained and we were able to cater for ourselves, was great. You didn't really need to go out. Just sitting on the balcony was experience enough. It is not in the centre of Honolulu, but the children walked into the city centre after dinner for Shave Ice, so close enough, and it is a nice quiet neighbourhood. Loved the Monk seals (and baby seal) on the beach. The pictures show the views from our balcony.
The air-conditioning, while working, was struggling to cool the place. It needs to be replaced. For the amount of room in the unit, the master bedroom taking up a great deal, it could have been better designed so that our grown-up family did not have to share two queen beds in one room, but we were aware that they would be doing this before we booked.
We have been staying here for years, it is our go to when we come to town to visit family and want to relax. It is close to Waikiki so your close to the action but its a world away from the hustle and bustle. Beach access 100feet away, beautiful rooms, great staff, great amenities and easy parking make it a perfect home away from home.

Hotel is in a great location, right near the beach and a short walk into Waikiki. The room was spacious, great view, lots of light, clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Waikiki where it is laid back and quiet. There was even a monk seal and baby just at the beach in front of the hotel.
Great position near to the main hub of Waikiki but far enough away to make it a quiet relaxing area
Lovely room, great view, amazing staff….nothing was too much trouble for them. Only stayed for 4 days, but are thinking about returning already. Never used most of the available amenities, but a great point from where to explore the area.

Loved the location of the Lotus. Easy access to the amenities of Waikīkī without the hubbub. The staff was welcoming, the hotel was quiet, the room clean, and a wonderful view of the park, Diamond head, and the beach. As one Uber driver commented, “It’s a hidden gem.”
The location was great - just far enough away from the busyness of Waikiki, but still walkable. The staff were all exceptional. The air conditioner was not working when we arrived so they did discount our rates. We unfortunately were unable to use the closest beach area due to monk seals, but it was very cool to see the monk seals.
Unfortunately, they do not have a pool and their on-site restaurant was not open on the day we arrived. Overall Recommend.

The air conditioner did not work the first night. Slept with doors open on third floor. Wish we were higher in the building and next to the other room that I reserved.
I enjoyed staying here even though the AC was out. I was here for business and traveling alone and it was nice to be on the quieter side of Waikiki. Customer service was stellar. I was fortunate to have a corner room which had a nice breeze blowing through it in the evening and I'm not an AC snob so I was okay with sleeping open lanai style.
The customer service was exceptional. Staff was nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the AC system was down during our stay, but they provided us with fans and made sure we were comfortable. We also dined at Arden Waikiki and had a great dining experience. We would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant.
