A Loyal Guest’s Call for Long-Overdue Investment
Pros:

I feel compelled to finally write this review in the hope that ownership actually reads it and takes action.

I have stayed at this Sheraton every year for the past 20 years while attending our industry convention next door. As a Marriott Ambassador Elite, I have stayed in countless properties around the world, including many older hotels. Age alone is not the issue here. Neglect is.

This property feels completely untouched for decades. The rooms are visibly outdated, with wallpaper and furniture that appear original. Bathrooms show clear signs of wear and deterioration, including stained tubs, tubs that do not drain properly, and visible mold issues. This is not a matter of style preference. It is basic upkeep and guest comfort.

Each year I return hoping to see even modest improvements, and each year nothing has changed. At this point, it feels like the hotel has been put on autopilot while relying solely on its location to carry it forward.

And that location is truly the only redeeming quality. Being directly connected to the convention center is incredibly convenient, which is why so many of us continue to stay here year after year despite the condition of the property.

This hotel has enormous potential. It serves a major convention market and a loyal, repeat guest base. But it urgently needs investment, renovation, and attention from ownership. Continuing to operate in this condition does a disservice to the Sheraton brand and to Marriott Bonvoy’s most loyal members.

I hope this review reaches someone who can finally make meaningful improvements. This property has been overdue for a refresh for far too long.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will return.
Pros:

Check in was great, hotel location was great, price was great. I enjoyed the comfort of the bed. At first the room was a little cool due to air being on but I adjusted the temperature and requested a comforter and they brought one up right away and we were good.

Cons:

I felt that they needed more people working the valet. We waited a long time to turn in car and also to retrieve our car. At times there weren't many people but it still took a long time. When checking in the valet asked me did I want a cart to take my bags up and I said yes but he never brought one for me.

It was only one night; we were satisfied with our stay.
Pros:

Breakfast buffet buffet was top-notch. Lorrain was our server. She was excellent. She's a long-time employee who has there since day one. Such a wonderful person, terrific service.

Cons:

Bathroom was dirty, hair in the sink, used bath sundries. Used shampoo bottle.
