Lovely lady as owner. Good location and nice communal balcony with hammocks
The room was a bit cramped for 4 people and no windows didn’t help with this either
Muy justo. El precio fue muy económico pero no quita los mínimo
Nada
Nada no me atendieron 😡 cuando llegamos no nos abrieron y tuvimos que improvisar donde dormir
Location
Smells like sewer, rude staff
The owners and the quaintness of the place.
It really wasn't a hostel, no cooking facilities.
On the plus side:
- The bed was relatively comfortable
- WiFi works fine.
- The location is ok.
- The place has potential, it's a shame they haven't invested a cent since the Mayan period.
Where to start? Before we arrived, the owner was asking for money on WhatsApp (shady) to confirm the room (booked via Booking). We paid >30 USD a night for a room.
Once we arrived, the show started.
- The toilet was clogged
- There were dirty towels in the bathroom.
Once we told them they fixed the issues.
But the problems didn't stop there.
- The towel they gave us was old, with holes and tainted by time (or dirt)
- There was no privacy in the room (transparent curtain, you could see everything from the lobby and the corridor of the hotel). The owner didn't see the problem.
- No water. The owner knew and didn't tell us until we raised the issue. We could shower in another bathroom, but it was dirty (hair and dirt).
The next day, they told us the water issue was resolved. It was not. We had to ask to change rooms.
- The bathroom in the new room was dirty as well. Hair everywhere.
- The toilet is broken and falling apart.
- The sink is broken and falling apart.
Worse price/quality ratio we had so far, it's been months we travel on a budget.
A very friendly host, we arrived after check in but she guided us to the place and even waited for us outside.
I loved the vibe of the place, it felt very colonial
The bed was a bit hard and made a lot of noise when turning
Fabiola was very nice.
We’ve rented a room for 4 people and were given a room with 3 beds. 2 double and one single bed. All good right? Well… wrong as we were told that we can not use one of the double beds. And we have to pay extra if we wanted to.
No night table or wardrobe in the room.
Great staff, Good value for a private room with private bathroom
Cold showers
You can't come and go as you please as someone is not always there to unlock the door but I have found this to be true in multiple hostels in honduras. However, when I called for someone to let me back in, it only took about 10 minutes
It's fine. Rooms are fine. There's a nice terrace with a couple of hammocks where you can hang out. It's close to everything and the colectivos to and from the border stop right by it.
good location, good internet
water filter did not work, we were told instead buying water.
the receptionist was still sleeping the moment we had to leave the hostel and all doors were locked
pretty noisy from chickens outside once you re int he downstairs rooms
well situated
got a private room for cheap with a shared bathroom
dirty sink area
very loud, the voices echo around the hotel and the noise starts very early
Walking distance to everything. The owner was helpful.
It was dirty. The room stank from sewer gases coming up the shower drain. There was no "communal kitchen" as stated in the ad. The owner's kitchen, which she gave me access too was absolutely filthy. The room was about as minimal as is possible.
comfy beds, amazing staff who helped us with questions and coffee, great location and hammocks
the very noisy chickens outside
