Great location lively restaurants right outside the hotel and a great pancake spot across the street. Rooms are quiet . Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Outstanding stay at the Thompson Hotel Chicago! From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed, and the location is perfect for both business and pleasure.

A special thank you to Ahmad at the front desk, who truly made the stay memorable. His professionalism, warmth, and willingness to go above and beyond provided a level of hospitality that stands out. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and ensured every detail was taken care of.

This was my 1st time at this property & it was amazing! Staff was lovely & super helpful, beautiful room and 10/10 for location! I was able to walk everywhere, including the lake! I will certainly be staying here in the future.

From the moment we arrived, the staff set the tone for the entire stay. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.

Our lake view king room was absolutely stunning. Waking up to those views made every morning feel like a special occasion!

The location is truly unbeatable. Oak Street Beach is right there, the shopping along Michigan Avenue is steps away, and the number of incredible.

We are so grateful we chose the Thompson for our anniversary. We will absolutely be back! 🥂

Had a great but brief stay at the Thompson this week. Was upgraded to a skyline suite with an amazing view and balcony space. Unfortunately I was only able to spend a little time at the hotel but look forward to returning. Ody at the front desk was wonderful as was Ivan, my waiter at the restaurant for breakfast. Great location and staff, I’ve always enjoyed my stays here. Thanks!

Had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is centrally located in the Gold Cost neighborhood. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Ahmad at reception was great.

Overall my stay was fantastic from the cleanliness and spaciousness of the hotel room, the excellent service from the staff, especially Myron, who helped me locate my conference shuttle, helped me with my luggage, and overall always had a smile and positive attitude greatly enhanced my stay.

Calm and friendly atmosphere. I came here for a family vacation with my mom and Aunt. They enjoyed their stay and felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The neighborhood is quiet with very nice shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel staff (Jackie, Natalie, Ahmad, Myron and Sam) were fantastic and so helpful!
