Very nice, traditional place
Beautiful building, comfy room, great location, nice staff
Breakfast set up is pretty sub-par
The location was fantastic
We love what you are doing with the accommodation. Keeping the history of the property alive, whilst giving it a new story; just some prior warning of the noisy challenges that come with this would have helped!
Issue with not being notified of the construction works, which for our room also meant no natural light as this has been boarded off on the small balcony area. We did raise concern with the young lady on reception, however she could not offer a solution, due to the manager/owner) not being on site)
Whilst we would expect some level of noise transfer in a traditional building, unfortunately the amount of noise that travelled from upstairs (footsteps, moving furniture) did interrupt our sleep . Whilst I appreciate that this is somewhat down to each individual guest on the upper floor being mindful, I do think that some greater prior knowledge of sound transfer due to the age and nature of the building would help guests make an educated decision on if the 8 ravati is the right fit for them.
Whilst the self cook breakfast set up is a lovely idea, again the noise of this does transfer, with the sound of the cutlery drawer, coffee machine and guests talking transferring into the ground floor rooms from 7am - very early for a holiday start, particularly after a tiring day exploring all that Chiang Mai has to offer!
We did have one rather major issue; a member of staff (we think as she was dealing with cables in your courtyard) recommended a laundry for us to use, but unfortunately multiple items of clothing have come back damaged / stained.
Good location, large rooms, comfortable bed.
Limited breakfast, but it was fine
The location was ideal and the staff very good.
Nothing to report
Very central and beautiful building. Staff absolutely lovely. Breakfast is DIY but simple and easy. Bed comfortable and shower powerful. Had a kettle safe fridge in room
Liked the hotel only 7 rooms, nice seating out the front. Nan is superb she helped us a lot
The rooms upstairs are sold with balcony but number 4 the balcony was boarded off due to works being done behind (which I appreciate cannot be helped) these rooms are slightly larger than the ones downstairs. Not sure they should be sold as balcony? And someone needs to mention the noise is loud. Rooms are therefore quite dark. But we didn’t spend much time indoors. Just get rooms out the front and all should be fine!!
Great location and lovely welcome from the staff. Early check in too. For the price paid it was excellent value.
Nothing.
