It was amazing

Location and modern style

I stayed at this property for 3 nights while attending a tradeshow at the nearby Orange County Convention Center. Hotel and room was in excellent condition. Roberto at the front desk was super friendly and has a great sense of humor! Hotel is within walking distance to numerous excellent restaurants. If you don't want to walk, I highly recommend the new driverless Waymo service. Quick and easy and cheaper than Uber since there isn't a driver to tip!

The breakfast was yummy and the location is close to universal parks. The staff was also very nice.

Once again we had an amazing stay at the Hyatt, César on reception is a credit to the company. It is people like him that makes us want to keep coming back.

The hotel overbooks the rooms, and they give you what they want, despite the actual booking.
The breakfast was fair enough.

Excellent location and very clean

The room was nice and big, check in was easy. Breakfasts buffet was delicious.

This was a wasted trip as the woman I stayed with drove me crazy and wouldn't stop asking me to take her everywhere.

Great location with plenty of restaurants within 5-10 mins walking distance. 15mins to Disney Hollywood Studios. The hotel has been recently renovated and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

This is an average hotel but in a great location.
First impressions the lobby looks clean and bright and staff are friendly. First impressions of the room. It looked clean and bright, however after a couple of nights staying in the room you start to notice things.

Poor lighting around the room - not enough adequate lighting near the mirrors to be able to see your face properly, the light switches are dated and one of them didn’t even work.

The air conditioning didn’t work properly, you turn it off and it turns on by itself even after turning it off a second time, it also did this in the middle of the night which was very annoying.

The floors - They may get hoovered by house keeping but i don’t know the last time it had a mop because we couldn’t walk on the floor bare foot and our socks were left looking filthy.

House keeping - Every other day, not something i have experienced when staying at a hotel.

Bathroom - We had a dated bathroom with a bath inside it and the toilet. There was no space to move inside it and even be able to get dressed - This is the only private space to get dressed if you’re sharing a room with others. I know other rooms have a walk in modern shower so Hyatt Place why have you not done this throughout all of your rooms?

The beds were comfortable but very thin sheets and the quilt could have done with a cover on it.

Breakfast was by far the worst hotel breakfast i have had. The selection was poor only one protein (Bacon) with the exception of one day when there was sausages and for the rest of the week they were non existent. The food looked like it had been defrosted warmed up and put out. There was no selection of pastries which is what it was missing. Most mornings the food was cold and also we had to take our own plates scrape them and put the plates in a basin like you are at school. Not something i would expect from a hotel when you are on holiday. Cutlery and plates were not always clean too.

Daily room charge of $50 for incidentals so be prepared for that too as this was not mentioned when we booked the hotel.

If you drive the car park also has daily charge.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location as there is so much around it, would i stay here again? Definitely not.
