Hyatt Place Scottsdale/Old Town

Location to Old Town. Modern interior design. Silverware instead of plastic eating utensils. Selection of breakfast. All items proper temperature. Staff friendly and offered maps. Immediately address bathroom sink drainage problem. Would stay and recommend this Hyatt.

I don’t recommend staying here. There are other better options for the price. There is a loud club right outside that goes all night, there were fights outside the hotel and it smelled like weed. I expected better from Scottsdale.

Nice location and comfortable stay! Location within walking distance of old town scottsdale. Easy parking and the rooms were nice!

Amazing location

The location of this hotel is a prime location close to many restaurants, bars and also shopping/malls. It is next to a very popular club that gets busy and causes a lot of noise. Parking is also hectic of you're arriving there when club is open.

The room was subpar, it was a bit older. The restroom needed a lot of maintenance and work. The paint from the tub was coming off and peeling. If you didn't use shower shoes the paint would stick to your feet.

The staff is friendly.

Breakfast is normal hotel continental Breakfast (nothing fancy)

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Old Town. The front desk staff is wonderful, and the hotel is very clean. I would stay there again.

Just about everything!

Guest Services truly friendly. Went there for my commencement ceremony. Stay here checked in early and was able to enjoy the scenic views of oldtown

The hotel itself is fine. The nightclub next door with all the drunk people hanging out around the exterior of the hotel all night is unacceptable. There were ear plugs on the nightstand which should explain everything. Nothing wrong with people having a good time, but when you're trying to sleep it is terrible to hear people yelling and playing music loudly in the parking lot until 4 am both of the nights we stayed there.

Nice location for walking to Old Town & Fashion Square. Clean double room was spacious that included extra couch seating & mini bar area including micro & fridge. Pool area had covered shade areas. Lobby was very spacious & was nice for breakfast time. Staff was friendly & helpful. Some loud guests came in late & could be heard but otherwise the hotel seemed quiet.

The Hyatt Place needs to be renovated. It was an okay stay. The elevators were very slow, and at times not working. The convenience of checking in early and online was a great experience, but there was no greeting from the front desk. I had to figure things out on my own. My television went out and it took maintenance all day to respond.

The location is great for Scottsdale. We walked to a taco place around the corner and enjoyed lunch while we waited for our room to get ready. I have to say the breakfast at this hotel is better then most of the hotel breakfasts I've stayed at. The french toast sticks and yogurt bar was nice along with the bacon/sausage options each day. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. I would say my only complaint was the sheets weren't my favorite as they had that "overworn" feel to them, to be clear they weren't dirty you could just tell they'd been around for a bit. The hotel was in a great location, very safe neighborhood. I am uncertain if there is a club nearby or if there were people outside partying over the weekend, but it was quite loud Friday night outside (ear plugs are provided by the hotel which we did not use), we didn't mind it...but I could see if people with small children or who are adverse to noise might find this to be an issue. Otherwise, this was highly recommended.

Staff was extremely helpful. Dominic at the front desk was awsome.

Check in was easy house was very nice. Our room was nice and clean everything was running great the AC was nice and cold. The pool was perfect setting nice and warm. We like the hospitality there we had a great stay. Very friendly I will definitely come back again. It was a very safe area to stay.
