Ok wenn man nur schläft und nicht zuviel erwartet - dann ok

Gute Lage

Cons:

Leider ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Beschädigungen durch Feuchtigkeit am Türstock, WC Spülung hing - Wasser immer gelaufen, Personal kaum bis gar nicht Deutsch, Frühstücksbuffet eher schwach (Fruchte aus der Dose, einfach lieblos)

Location. It was at the bottom of a really steep hill. Sauna closed too early 7 pm.

Pros:

milý a ochotný personál na recepcii, slušná wifi konektivita. Nebol problém požičať si poháre z kuchyne na izbu čo je mimo bežný štandard a treba to pozitívne oceniť.

Cons:

mali sme izbu 513 co bolo na najvyššom poschodí a uplne na kraji a bolo tam zima. Po tom ako sme dopytovali na recepcii ohľadom nápravy tam bol vyslaný údržbár ale nič sa nezmenilo. Po opatovnom kontakte s recepciou som si z recepcii mohol vo vlastnej réžii zaniesť a zapojiť radiátor.

Raňajky boli bez jedného kúska čerstvej zeleniny a každý deň úplne rovnaká ponuka.

Pri dopyte na late checkout sme dostali info že za 30 euro je to možné, čomu rozumiem ale čakal by som že pri otužovaní na izbe nám hotel túto možnosť ponúkne rád grátis.

Value for money. If the hotel is renovated, it would be 1 of the best in BadGastein due to location.
Pros:

The staff, the pool, the view and location were great.

Cons:

The rooms and especially the bathrooms need a serious renovation.

Pros:

We stayed at this hotel in Bad Gastein and overall had a pleasant experience. The building dates back to 1882, and while the rooms are clearly old and not recently renovated, everything was very clean — the rooms, the hotel areas, and common spaces.

The room itself was spotless, the mattresses were comfortable, and towels were changed every day. Cleanliness is definitely one of the strong points of this hotel.

Breakfast was standard, similar to what you’d expect in most hotels. Dinner included soup, a good variety of salads, a choice of two main dishes (often one fish option), and dessert — simple but satisfying. The restaurant staff are a very strong advantage of this hotel — always positive, friendly, and extremely helpful. Their attitude really stands out and adds a lot to the overall experience.

The spa area was very clean, with very, very warm water, making it especially relaxing.

Overall, despite the age of the building and outdated rooms, the excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, outstanding restaurant staff, and spa made the stay enjoyable.

Great Hotel with everything you need! Definitely recommend!
Pros:

We stay at this hotel every year with our family, there is always a warm welcome at the reception, excellent and delicious breakfasts and dinners, the rooms are always very clean and there is a large and warm pool and saunas! We definitely recommend it! Very close to the bus, shop and mountain lifts!
