It was a quiet relaxing stay. I'd come again.
Pros:

The Jacuzzi was the most massive I've ever encountered in 30-odd years of countless hotel stays. Temperature and water were good. Pool excellent. Sauna and steam room best I've ever visited.
Parking was easy and spacious. Staff were polite and helpful.
The rooms were well presented. There were modern sockets with USB charging ports.
5G signal was very good in this area (around 80Mbps download speed), so I did not need to use Hotel Wi-fi.

Cons:

Several lockers in the changing room were out of commission or would not close properly. I checked about 10 of them. It took 15 minutes to find one that worked. This has nothing to do with the manual entry of the code. It was about the latch not engaging the groove in which it is meant to slide into. This is not a sudden problem on the day because so many were not working. Do not rely on guest feedback to monitor this. The lockers should be audited every 2 weeks or so.
The rain shower in the room did not work. But another shower head did on the same fitting.

Little things ruined a potentially good value for money stay
Pros:

Room was lovely and clean .

Cons:

I was really disappointed with the communication.

Before booking, I called to ask about food options and even followed up with a message where I mentioned it again. I was only told about the evening restaurant, and at no point was I informed that light bites or afternoon tea were available during the day.

Because of this, we didn’t go straight to the hotel and instead wasted time going into the centre to find something to eat. It was extremely frustrating to then discover at check-in that daytime food was actually available. We could have spent that extra time enjoying the hotel and its surroundings.

The spa area was also a let down. It clearly needed better attention, as there were used towels, glasses, and empty cups left lying around. Overall, this really impacted our experience.

Disappointed
Pros:

Location. Access to North Wales coast.
Welcoming front desk staff. Accomodating, informative and friendly.
Good check in/out times

Cons:

Front of house staff member at breakfast. Not friendly at all
Visitors continuingly having to request hot food items.
Dirty used dishes left on table both between courses and when visitors left dining area.
