Room was lovely and clean .
I was really disappointed with the communication.
Before booking, I called to ask about food options and even followed up with a message where I mentioned it again. I was only told about the evening restaurant, and at no point was I informed that light bites or afternoon tea were available during the day.
Because of this, we didn’t go straight to the hotel and instead wasted time going into the centre to find something to eat. It was extremely frustrating to then discover at check-in that daytime food was actually available. We could have spent that extra time enjoying the hotel and its surroundings.
The spa area was also a let down. It clearly needed better attention, as there were used towels, glasses, and empty cups left lying around. Overall, this really impacted our experience.
Staff was super friendly, well presented and professional. They couldn't do enough for us. Room was a great size, cleaned daily with fresh towels and warm. We had 2 dogs with us and they settled well.
The spa use was complimentary we didn't pay extra and the spa was brilliant. Clean and had brilliant facilities for the price you pay to stay.
The gym equipment needs upgrading particularly the treadmills but fine otherwise.
Hotel was really central for everything all the main towns Llandudno etc only 20 mins away
The TV in the room could hav been a bit more modern as in smart TV but it was a minor thing as with the spa we weren't in the room much. The treadmills in the gym need upgrading.
Nice relaxing . Food was excellent
Was very happy with the service
Nothing
Hotel & Grounds initial impression was good
Around 1.5 hours after drinking a pint of draft larger in the hotel, I became severely unwell. I spent the entire night in the bathroom vomiting and suffering with severe diarrhoea, which was an extremely unpleasant experience.
My wife attempted to contact the night porter a few times for water and assistance but no one answered the phone, leaving us without any support during the night while I was very ill.
In the morning around 7:30am my wife had to search for staff members, their response was dismissive and lacked any concern. She made it clear that whatever I had eaten or drank at the hotel had caused me to be seriously ill throughout the night, yes this did not appear to be taken seriously.
