It was a scary night
Pros:

The staff were friendly but somebody knocked at the door in middle of the night... we were already sleeping and there was a knock on the door at around 10:30-11pm and it wasn't just a knock but somebody was calling and knocking the door multiple times... and then the room looked clean but i felt itchy all night. And couldn't sleep and when finally i slept somebody opened the door at 4 am in the morning.. it wasn't a pleasant stay at all.. I was really scared.. however the staffs were good but i don't know what happened at night.. It was a scary stay and i don't recommend.. the view of the pyramid is awesome but the area of the hotel is also shady even our guide asked us not to go out of the hotel.

Pros:

Room clean and comfortable. Very convenient location. Neighborhood terrible and filthy with unceasing vendors. Very annoying to be harassed to buy moment walk outside. I am well accustomed having traveled extensively. Very loud wealthy party inside compound on night there at base of sphinx. Fireworks, canon fire and VERY loud music till 3AM. Other loud parties in area. Very loud environment. Staff tried to be helpful and were overall kind, but it is a very dated hotel in a filthy part of town that happens to be on a great and convenient location for pyramid access. 1 minute to gate with excellent sunset view. Realize what this hotel is and with that you will be fine.

Pros:

If you want the perfect view this is the place for you. There are some stairs but the place is perfect, our room was on the same floor as reception, 2 xl twin beds, with balcony overlooking pyramids, free wifi, breakfast was included in our reservation but there are many food places nearby. The staff was very friendly and pffered a helping hand whenever possible. We were offered many tours around Cairo and Giza, but ended up just getting the transfer from the airport through them, wonderful service, the driver was very accommodating and found us at the airport right away, welcomed us and happily went over what to expect in Cairo during our stay, it was a great experience (thank you Ali!). Overall, i would deff stay here again and will deff be providing friends and family members with this place

Pros:

We booked for the Panoramic View Room. The check in for us was terrible, the property manager greeted us /sat us down and pressured us to book with him for tours, he did NOT STOP, he kept asking why.. and would not take us to the room EVEN after politely telling him no (Mind you we just got out of a 12+ plane ride) after I stood firm and said No; he looked upset and took us to the room. Very disappointed how that felt for us. For the room, it had great view! We didn’t have to go anywhere to see the pyramids and the entrance to the pyramids is extremely close (30 seconds from hotel to ticket purchase and entry). Although it was that close, we felt that it didn’t compensate on the cons: The electricity went out for 45 min on day 1 and water went out for 2hrs on day 2 (8am) so we couldn’t shower / or restroom before our adventure, they said it was the whole area and they couldn’t do anything.

Would I pay here to stay again; NOOOOOO! I felt that I overpaid for the “view” .. for future travelers.. I would book a much cheaper hotel elsewhere that has more SPACE and better amenities with much better service. After this stay, we booked in downtown Cairo for WAY CHEAPER and the service was 1000% better. If I would do it again, I would drive to pyramids and soak it in on top of a restaurant/view and return to a hotel in Cairo.

The most frustrating experience of my life
Pros:

I know their living conditions aren't the best, but that's no excuse for ruining my vacation and their attempts at many suspicious behaviors they want tips for every move I make they won't ask for them, but I felt their embarrassing behavior. all the employees are somehow trying to get you to book a package of their expensive tours by saying "these are safe tours affiliated with the hotel " I would have thought about it, but their multiple suspicious attempts made it clear to me that these attempts aren't for safety. All this nonsense is that they are taking advantage of meI realized this when I noticed the constant insistence even when I went up to the restaurant to enjoy the atmosphere, there were those who offered me things to do , everyone calls themselves the manager you don't even notice if the employees work at the hotel, are strangers, or are visitors alot of dinners. there is no management don't try this hotel at all.

The best view you can get from a hotel in giza
Pros:

The location was great and very close to the pyramids and the view was very picturesque. I liked the staff’s treatment and their willingness to provide assistance at any time. The hotel also has a private terrace that suits all occasions, whether it is a birthday, an engagement celebration, or if you want to sit and watch the sound and light show. This is the best thing I had on my trip. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location! Location! Location! And friendly Staff
Pros:

First of all, you can't beat the location for this 3 star hotel. Right next to the Sphinx entrance, and direct view of the pyramids. My room was the Panorama with Balcony, which was on the rooftop next to the restaurant, although this didn't make it noisy at all. The food is good and the breakfast is plentiful but coffee is not with it. The staff here are extremely helpful and friendly and it was a pleasure to interact with them. Particular mention goes to Gabriel and Abood, both of whom were helpful at all times. The rest of the crew were too but there were too many to remember their names. The promotion of optional tours is heavily advertised, but if you say you'e not interested, then that is fine. Definitely worth staying at!

3 days at the Giza Pyramids
Pros:

We had a great stay at this hotel—an experience we will never forget! The view of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx from our room was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up each morning to such a majestic sight was magical and worth every moment. We had the same amazing view from the rooftop terrace during breakfast.

The hotel itself was immaculately clean, and everything was maintained with great care. But what really made our stay exceptional was the warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful staff.

A special shout-out to Hossam, who went above and beyond to help us organize unforgettable tours around Cairo and Saqqara. He made everything smooth and stress-free, giving us great recommendations and making sure everything was tailored to our interests. Alongside Hassan at the reception, they made a fantastic team—always smiling, always ready to help, and doing their best to fulfill every need or request we had.

If you’re planning a trip to Cairo and want a place that combines comfort, service, and unbeatable views, this is the place to stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our time in Egypt so special!

I am glad that I chose this inn for my stay in Egypt. The staff are all friendly and helpful, particularly Mohammed and Hossam. Its location is right in front of The Great Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza. I believe it has the best view you can find, and the price is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

Pros:

The location was everything in this hotel with amazing views (depending on room you select). The room was a bit dated with window not closing completely causing the air conditioning not to really cool the room, but all in all i was very satisfied with my stay. The staff was very attentive and welcoming and willing to help with any questions or tours if you havent made plans.Sidenote you are right in front of the Giza entrance so you will be swamped with vendors once you step out of lobby but that is everywhere in Egypt.I Definitely recommend this hotel if your in cairo for Giza, waking up to the pyramids is in front of your room is beyond words

Great place!
Pros:

We were a last minute booking and went for the big room with a balcony and view of the pyramids. Room 201. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom clean with a very efficient shower. Gabrielle and the staff were most helpful in every respect. Breakfast on the roof offered a good selection of food. Happy to recommend Egypt Pyramids Inn as an excellent place to stay. Photo is our view of the light show from our balcony.

Waking up to the Sphinx - A dream come true
Pros:

We spent four nights in a balcony room with a stunning view of the Pyramids. Getting to the hotel from the airport was easy, and although the surrounding area might seem a bit unsettling at first, we experienced no safety issues at all. Regarding the smell that some people mention — it’s honestly nothing out of the ordinary.

The hotel staff welcomed us warmly and escorted us to our room. We arrived at night, but stepping onto the balcony and seeing that breathtaking view immediately moved us. The Sphinx was so close — I used to think those photos were taken with zoom lenses, but it really is right next to the hotel! Waking up to a full-length glass window facing this incredible view was a magical start to the day. The atmosphere has a mystical charm — it truly feels like Ancient Egypt is right in front of you.

Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, which offers a panoramic, mesmerizing view. The open buffet was delicious and more than enough. We also tried lunch and dinner at the hotel — tasty, reasonably priced, and served with a smile. That said, service can be a bit slow — what they charmingly call “Egyptian time” — so order before you’re really hungry. Their mojito is excellent — definitely recommended!

The hotel is right next to the Sphinx entrance of the Giza Pyramids and is surrounded by currency exchange offices, restaurants, and souvenir shops. If you’re lucky, you can watch the Pyramids’ light show for free from the hotel terrace!

In Giza, horses, donkeys, camels, and carriages are commonly used for tourism. Even though the area is regularly cleaned, the smell is somewhat inevitable. But once you’re riding a camel by the Pyramids, the joy of the experience easily outweighs any discomfort.

Special thanks to Yusif for his warm energy, to Bakar with his stylish glasses and great taste in local music, to Abudi who could solve anything with a friendly chat, to Hossom who helped us with his computer skills when we needed technical support, and to Yahya, Nasr, and the entire staff for their genuine hospitality.

If we return to Giza, there’s no doubt — we’ll stay at this hotel again.
