Memorable Staff and Exceptional Staff
Pros:

Our stay at the Merchant Villa was very pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The property grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the on site wine bar, restaurant, and coffee shop. Upon checking out, we both received a gift bag with some good snacks. Thank you to all the staff at the Merchant Villa for making such a memorable stay!

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

The pictures posted don’t do this stat justice - it was even more beautiful in person! The staff was incredible, the room was spotless, and we felt very cared for. The staff even noticed when we checked in that it was my birthday and provided us with a cake to celebrate. Next time we are in Chiang Mai we will be back to Merchant Villa

A beautiful property in a picturesque piece of Chiang Mai. We were truly surprised at how beautiful it all was, from the coffee shop, to the restaurant, and of course the villa.everytjingbwas tied together by a beautiful landscape. It was a wonderful departure from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room had amazing tall ceilings, a shower and a tub, and was very spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the coffee at the coffee shop and food at the Italian restaurant we're delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Chiang Mai.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!
Pros:

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room is large and extremely comfortable. The hotel offers lots of amenities including air conditioning, and a large beautiful bathroom. They also have a mini-fridge which is free to use as well as complimentary drinks daily. The staff are super polite, friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stay near the blooming cherry blossoms
Pros:

Elegantly decorated in western classical /neoclassical style, this comfortable & luxurious boutique hotel is located near Doi Suthep temple & National park. I hired a taxi to go around its vicinity. Great base to set out from & visit the Khun Chang Kian Highland Agriculture Research Center & admire the blushing pink cherry blossoms in January ! I also visited the modern highend Maya lifestyle shopping mall nearby.

Hôtel idéalement situé, calme, personnel très dévoué, un restaurant italien de très bonne qualité, bar à vins à proximité, coffee shop dans le domaine avec une belle végétation très bien entretenue.
Piscine très propre.
Le seul bémol serait le petit-déjeuner à améliorer

Room was spacious and clean. Pool was ok but no bar service at the hotel. Lack of English by the reception staff did not help create a smooth communication. Hotel is situated a 15 -20min car ride from Chiang Mai centre.

Relaxing stay in a quiet and luxurious environment
Pros:

Best place in Chiang Mai for rest and relaxation in a quiet environment. All the staff were eager to please. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good mix of Thai and western food. I highly recommend this place if you want to avoid crowds but still be close to everything.
