Un bonito lugar tranquilo y comodo

Loved the location, walking distance to Bucerius and La Cruz. Beautiful small hotel 7 rooms. Spacious rooms with room for friends/family to stay for a couple days. The staff was great, they gave us space and helped when needed. The city needs to replace the sewer mainline along the street. They said it will be fixed in the next month. We had a great 14 day stay at Casa Maria. Loved the boutique hotel.

What a wonderful stay! Ivan was top notch with everything! From welcoming us to the hotel to getting us a clean safe cab ride anywhere we wanted to go. The rooms are huge and Ivan’s Hospitality was above and beyond! We did have a few issues like no internet or tv the last night and our toilet and sink water stopped working the last night. BUT Ivan was great and fixed everything promptly. Thank you Ivan for such a wonderful time. We will be back!

The room was really clean and spacious , the staff is kind and helpful and the pool area is great.

didn't like the rocky beach. couldn't swim. unit needs renovation done on kitchen sink and bathroom sink. no counter in bathroom. no cheaper restaurants near by. every thing else was fine.

A liitle out of the way for dining and shopping and no sandy beach

Broken sewer pipe nearby created very strong smells of sewage at times. Picture of beach represented was not the actual beach. Very overpriced.

Only issue was it was a little hard to find the hotel because the entrance was at the end of a hill. Also the toilet stopped flushing mid stay but the maintenance man fixed it right away. The hotel was nice and in a private area along the beach which made it a nice relaxing stay for us. The hotel room was also very spacious for the amount of people required to stay. Lastly, the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Ivan. He gave us lots of recommendations and wonderful taxi drivers.

Great hosts, not a sandy beach on the ocean side to lounge in but a nice pool with a bar.
Next door to a fab restaurant but only one other in the nearest vicinity. Right on the highway so rides were easy to arrange, a 30 min walk to Bucerias if you don't mind a bit of a daily hike. Not many stores nearby so take a light pack when you go to Bucerias. A charming little stay with an affordable rate.

Too far outside of Bucerias. Local bus or taxi were necessary to avoid very long walks.

Room was clean, comfortable. Didn’t expect the kitchen. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Arrived 5 hours early, they allowed us to check in. Have absolutely no complaints. It’s an older building but a solid 3 star.

The place is just awful! Smells, the pool is cold or unavailable, there is no access to the beach. Bad. Bad. Bad.

Nice Oceanside hotel - does need some attention to room repairs

My recent stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the rooms were quite noisy because the windows couldn't close properly, likely due to the building's age. To make matters worse, there was construction going on in the neighboring building, adding to the disturbance.

On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which is the main reason I’m not rating this stay lower—they deserve recognition for their excellent service.

However, I was disappointed that there were no VIP access benefits despite the advertised amenities. Overall, while the staff's hospitality stood out, the noise and lack of perks made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

Once again we feel the hotel rating is not accurate! A more appropriate rating would be 2 stars in my opinion. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly and helpful, the suite was huge but quite dated, especially the kitchen and bathroom. The beach access was not easily accessible and the beach was quite rocky due to hurricane damage. Not very walkable to Bucerias due to the distance and the rocky beach. I think that the price was high considering the inferior location and outdated condition of the suite. The pool was nice and the view was great!
