NICE PLACE TO STAY
Pros:

I stayed at the DA SHA DAO hotel in September 2012 and liked the hotel.
The rooms are kept extremely clean and the management is ever present to attend to the needs of the clientele.
In the evening one can take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the beauties of the PEARL RIVER.
There are also hotels nearby where foreigners can have meals of their choice.

Pretty good with a few quirks
Pros:

Stayed here back in 2008/09 during the holiday season. The room was ok, we had a large king sized bed with a glass enclosed bathroom. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of marble. The location and price $21 was good though, the Pearl River within walking distance, McDonald's kiddy corner and a 7 eleven across the street. Stayed here again in 2010 and would consider it in 2012. We had a problem with sewer gas from an disconnected sink pipe in 2010 but management gave us a different room.

Pros:

The room was dusty. The workers were impolite and I asked them them to help to get a taxi. They tried to ripped us off. In fact it's very easy to get a taxi no matter what time you want to leave. The air-conditioner and phone were not working. The kettle was rusty. Lucily I just stayed for one night only. Don't be fool by the pics.
