Daidalos Hotel

Everything was very clean and mostly comfortable. However, we were never able to get hot water in our room. Our stay was strange from start to finish. We came to check in, and no one was there. There was an email that said the desk was open all day but that we needed to call 24 hours ahead to schedule it. We had just booked that morning, though, so they knew. There was an emergency #, and we called it and heard it ring behind the (empty) desk. The hotel next door told us to wait and someone would come because the owner lived nearby. We left our bags there for about an hour and came back and someone checked us in. The place was nicely decorated but seemed totally empty. The woman we finally met was very nice and hospitable, the only reason this is a 2 and not a 1. However, she told us breakfast was 7-11. No one came out until at least 9:30. And then breakfast was yogurt, uncooked oats, honey, jam, and some boiled eggs. Because it was between two lovely hotels, it felt even stranger. This was rated on Hotels.com in the 9s, which could only be fraudulent. There was absolutely nothing 9 about this hotel. Would not recommend or stay again.

Maria and Katrina were fantastic,the breakfast was yummy, hard boiled eggs many types of breads, yogurt, cheeses, lunch meat, melons, tomatoes,olives, cookies,cereals,coffee,juices, overall good load up breakfast. salt water pool was amazing, view was incredible. Short walk to the restaurants and small beach.

Really good hotel, great views and fantastic sunsets from the pool area. Many table options to sit for breakfast outside and insid. Breakfast itself was great and varied, yogurt, cereals, different jam and spread options, fruit, cake or biscuits and some savoury snack, hard-boiled eggs, tea and coffee. There was even a cafetiere to brew your own! The hotel itself was very close to all the amenities in the village and 5' from Armenistis Beach, 15' from Livadi and 25' from Mesakti. Had a great time!

Schöner Ausblick, einige Restautants Fußläufig gut erreichbar. Rezeption selten besetzt, obwohl sich dort der Safe befindet, wo man dann nicht dran kommt.. Allg. kaum Personal anzutreffen. Keine Begrüßung, auch nicht am nächsten Tag. Ein Zettel lag an der Rezeption mit Zimmerschlüssel. Frühstück für 2 Sterne ging gerade noch. Heissgetränke lauwarm, Omlett kalt, Brot, nur Weissbrot meist trocken
Käse/Wurst eher Zimmertemp. Tomate, Gurke, Feta, manchmal gab es das, auch nicht kühl. Steht alles Stunden, im dunklen Raum. 1x Licht am Frühstücksbuffet in 13 Tagen, eine griechische Reisegruppe war da. Personal hat auf Fragen freundlich geantwortet, auch zurück gegrüßt, das wars leider auch schon. Kein regelmäßiger Handtuch wechsel(4 Tagevgar nicht dann tägl. dann wieder anders) Boden nicht wirklich sauber, Balkon wurde in 13 Tage gar nicht gesäubert. Bad keine Duschkopfaufhängung, Duschvorhang klebt am Körper beim Duschen. Klobürste nur ecklig, Badreinigung nicht erkennbar. Poolrand wird leider auch nicht gesäubert. Frühstücksbereich leider auch nicht regelmäßig geputzt.

Perfect Hotel and really nice people. I can only highly recommend to stay here.
