Our stay and room were better than what we expected.
Pros:

The breakfast was decent and the coffee was great.

Our stay was very comfortable and safe.
Pros:

I liked the small balcony where you could sit outside. The room was spacious and nice.
The staff was very helpful to get us a room to accommodate us because we have trouble walking.
It was located close to shopping.

Cons:

Breakfast was not included but available in the restaurant but cost was above average.

After calling the desk and getting no acceptable help for my problem if no working refrigerator, I went to the front desk. Georgia and Patricia were at the check in desk. They both offered options but Georgia actually helped. I asked if we could swap refrigerators because without it our food would spoil and I needed my medicine with me. She actually made the swap. I’m sorry there was “man” or maintenance person to facilitate the solution, but Georgia didn’t let that stop her. She was very friendly, animating, and a true problem solver. She didn’t get paid more fire helping but she certainly did whatever she could try help save the hotel reputation and help a customer with their needs. I booked the hotel further from Columbus at this hotel because of the Marriott name/reputation.

Cons:

The refrigerator didn’t work. They had no one working in maintenance to exchange a refrigerator. The initial person at the desk was not helpful. Georgia saved the visit. Patricia did say she was working a note for the manager to contact me the next morning. No contact was made. That’s ok because of Georgia!

It was clean, friendly and just nice all over.

Cons:

We would told that the price was 265.00 on check in it was 305.00. I was told that 20.00 would be returned at for each night at the end of the stay. That extra 40.00 was not mentioned at all when I checked out and as far as I know was not returned to my account.

Pros:

Breakfast was somewhat pricey.

Cons:

Loud talking by housekeeping and their repeated knocks on my door to see if I was checking out. Rooms need Do Not Disturb signs!
