Courtyard by Marriott Columbus

Clean room upon arrival. Only 2 night stay so no housekeeping was performed on room while staying. Felt the whole Bistro idea not very good. Especially for the price I paid for breakfast. Other hotels give their guests the same quality food for free.

Hotel under renovations and that was not listed online. Very nice people, Lobby looked great. Rooms beds were horrible, carpet was horrible just old and out dated.

Nice quiet clean place to rest. Even with the construction I would recommend staying here over surrounding Hotels.

The staff was really nice. The front of the building was under construction, which I get, but it was pouring down rain, so not ideal. We got our room and it smelling so bad like mold/mildew. My throat was instantly burning. They gave us a new room and as we were leaving the moldy one a piece of glass from the light fixture on the wall fell and almost hit me in the head. I took it to the front desk and they apologized. There was so much water damage throughout the whole place. I snapped a picture when we were leaving, I should have taken more.

The ceiling in our room had holes where the plaster fell off the ceiling. No USB ports in the room .

Staff was very friendly

The rooms, carpets and hallways were old and dirty. The shower leaked and we had a cockroach. I’m surprised Marriott has let this property age so poorly.

Arrived late at night at hotel around 12:40, called ahead to let staff know we would be late. When we went in room, toilet hadn’t even been flushed, bathroom door wouldn’t close bc it was sliding and had come off runner, picture in bathroom had smashed frame and sink tap didn’t work correctly. Was so late didn’t want to change room but was concerned sheets hadn’t even been changed. We was leaving at 8 next morning so only spent 7 hours there or we would of complained.

When I checked in, there were crumbs in my bed, which was haphazardly made. They were understanding and gave me another room, but it took about 45 minutes to get it. Then, in the new room, there was a bug in the bathroom. I will not stay there again. Very disappointing for a Marriott.

We checked in late and left early. It was perfect for our needs except the side door light was out so it was a little scarey.

The refrigerator was small and there was no microwave. The sink backed up and the toilet was so small it was hard to get up. I would not stay there again.

Close to shopping, restaurants. Fortunately, there was a Chevy Dealer next door that repaired my vehicle.

Great hotel, very quiet and comfortable

Nice but could us an update. Room seemed clean but was dated.

The staff was excellent. The beds were really hard.

The property was in a great location and it was very affordable. I don’t think I’ll book again unfortunately though. #1 The hotel is definitely outdated and it smells awful. I couldn’t tell if the smell was mold or if it was water damage (visible damage on ceiling).There was also stains on the floor … and on couch… everything was just so outdated and old. My room was a connecting room so I could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors were saying. Oh and There was not complementary breakfast… Idk. Overall 6/10

Awsome stay

The room smelled extremely heavily of mildew and I realized it was coming from the window unit. I had to turn the window unit off for concern for my respiratory health, but then it was of course an oven because it was July in GA. Also, there were ants crawling on one wall (not near the window, close to the bed).
