Best Value in town
Pros:

Jay at the front desk always a pleasure to speak with. I have zero complaints. The AC and Heat work great and the bed is comfortable. The cleaning staff is friendly and if they catch you outside will ask you if you need your room serviced. I appreciate that.

Cons:

My key sometimes loses its memory but I think that's because I put it in my pocket next to my cell phone. So not a problem of the hotel.

Pros:

The guy who checks you in, is rude and unprofessional. He kept talking on the phone while I was waiting for him to help me. I had to go back to the office about 5 times because the key was not working!!!! The room is very small! The good reviews you see online are all made by his friends!!!!! The guy who is usually at the front desk is arrogant

Pros:

The location is fantastic—it's just a short ride to the beach and downtown, especially convenient if you have a bike.
Jay at the front desk deserves special mention. He's consistently courteous, genuinely friendly, and always greets everyone with a warm smile. The hotel would be wise to recognize and promote someone with his level of service and positive attitude.

The room itself was comfortable and well-equipped for my needs. The bed provided excellent support and a good night's sleep, and both the air conditioning and heater worked reliably.

I also appreciated the free coffee available in the reception area, and the night-shift staff member was equally kind and helpful.

Overall, a very pleasant stay—small touches and attentive people like Jay made it feel welcoming and stress-free.

The Wi-Fi was occasionally slow, which could be frustrating when trying to stream or work online.
One morning the cleaning staff knocked on my door and called my room to check in, despite the fact that I had already paid to extend my stay and had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign up. It was an unwelcome interruption and woke me earlier than planned. I mentioned this to Jay at the front desk, and to his credit, the issue was addressed immediately—nothing similar happened for the rest of my stay.

These were minor inconveniences in an otherwise pleasant experience, but they’re worth noting.

The location is perfect for anything you have to do.At oceanside or on base, the rooms are comfortable and clean and for the price.You can't really beat it.

Cons:

Both times i've been there.I got the same room.The first time I was staying for a week and the problem was the room was the furthest room from the parking lot you could get, so I had to carry all my stuff through the parking lot up.The stairs through a locked gate into my room.It was a long haul, took me forty five minutes just to get my stuff up from my car into the room.Couldn't have picked a further distance from the parking lot with the room choice.Both times but for as cheaper the room was, I didn't complain.
