Bed wad comfortable. Room wad reasonably clean.
Outside of hotel could do with a clean up. Staff couldn't find my booking even though l had paid in advance. Took about an hour to sort rooms out. Evening meal was poor quality for the price. Overall the whole hotel could do with a spruce up.
Breakfast was great. Pool was great. Location was preety central for a few places
One or two staff members came aross abit rude but all the other staff we seen were very polite and friendly
I have stayed there many times and expecting that same good things as before. Not to be …..
The management and staff look and feel that there has been a big change or cost reduction !!
A premier room had a blocked bathroom sink. Water took ages to clear. The wall radiator did not have heat and the mini bar fridge at this level had many missing items.
English language with some staff was challenging !!
I think I need a different hotel option for April !!
Location and food
Staff very friendly
Was able to book in early
Reasonably convenient.
Pretty rundown in terms of decor and fittings.
Excellent as always
The shower was powerful and water hot and plentiful. Bed was OK.
Breakfast was extremely expensive (£16.95 p.p) and even continental was £10+) Room and bed was OK but bathroom was VERY shoddy - badly cracked sink, scuffed fittings, parts of the bath (the bit to control the bath "plug") coming away when handled - not something expected of an IHG hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff
Nothing
The hotel is a reasonable price, and between Chester and Wrexham, it was a good place if you're staying over for the football
Rooms are a little dated
It was convenient and close to Wrexham where we were attending our sporting fixture.
The room was very cold and the heating did not make a great deal of difference. We could have done with the radiator on and working. The plug socket next to the bed wasn’t working.
Food was ok
Bar was small to eat as family. Very noisy and dated floor boatds. And very noisy guests
Loved all the staff especially the lady head chef who was very kind to my pug
Nothing comes to mind
Room was clean and tidy ideal for what we needed.
The hotel is dated and in need of at least redecorating and jag good clean
Restaurant. Breakfast . Bar . Location
Na
Good value for money and great location for access to Chester.
Room very outdated, with old carpets etc. Lingering smell in room, but not bad enough to ask for a different room. Booked hotel specifically for pool use on Friday night/Saturday daytime but 50% of pool was being used for public swimming lessons so very busy/noisy, changing rooms also old/dirty.
Clean and friendly staff
Cheap toilet roll
