charging for tonic to go with the free gin ?
very well modernised , great location , lovely staff , lovely room with access to patio area
we were right under the bar area and my husband couldn't sleep properly
Location and staff are fantastic, lovely room with a great view
Beautifully presented in excellent location. Room was smart, with modern decor. The staff at breakfast, Kristin & Amanda, were excellent. Efficient & friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Barman also friendly & efficient. Chambermaids also.
Initial check in , poor. Staff seemed disinterested, not helped by sitting behind the desk which was too high. We weren’t shown the lift & stairs, despite it being quiet.
Pillows could be more comfortable, bathrobes one size….too small.
Welcome, staff, room all in good order. Breakfast room also good
Paying an addtional £10 per head for breakfast; continental breakfast was limited in quality overall
Booking.com confirmation said that we had breakfast each morning. However it was only continental breakfast .That should have been made clear to us.
Stunning views, easy parking lovely rooms.
Only criticism did need to ask for replacement tea bags and milk
Comfortable, peaceful, great staff, beautiful decor, ideal location and a fabulous breakfast and quiet well modern functional room 23 was. My taxi into town was arranged and everything ran like clockwork.
Great views and really short walk into Padstow
Beds huge and comfortable
The little touch of hunter wellies to use was great
The hotel was very clean and stylish. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The bed was really comfortable and the walkin shower was powerful. There is a lift to all floors which is good.
We ate in the dining room for our evening meal. The food was divine and of a high quality. Reasonably priced for the area, especially in a hotel. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient. Would recommend staying here.
For those with mobility issues or not used to regular exercise the walk into Padstow is about 10 mins and very hilly. Personally, I loved the walk but others who couldn't manage it had to drive down and park. All parking is chargeable in the public car park, even Blue Badge holders. ,
Very well presented
Room starting to look tired
