Awful hotel!
Pros:

It was close to Halton hospital, to which I had an appointment for the following day.

Cons:

On arrival, you have to drive through deep potholes on entering the car park, which wasn’t good for my car! The bedroom was dirty, heater kept making an awful noise constantly! The bed was definitely NOT a double bed as advertised! And it was really hard to sleep in. At the bottom of the bed you could see all the fabric from underneath the frame all ripped up!! The carpet was filthy! 🤢
In the bath/shower there was hair & pubes all over it! Taps hadn’t been wiped! Went to the bar for a drink, empty bar area but loads of dirty dishes around, even dumped on the bar! The barman took ages to come from the reception area where he was talking to other staff! Not friendly, couldn’t even smile!
On entering the restaurant we were told where everything was, all of the hot food seemed to have been there for days! Looked like warmed up food since the day before! Mugs were dirty!

The only good parts of the hotel were the two members of staff that we interacted with, one was the lady at check in, who was very friendly and professional! And the young man who greeted up when we came down for breakfast.

Staff great but room disappointing
Pros:

Staff were fantastic and very helpful when we had an issue with our room

Cons:

Initially given a room that smelled heavily off drains, stains on the carpet, blood on the curtains, furniture broken, stains on furniture, mattress very uncomfortable and was only a double bed not a king size

Comfortable hotel in good location
Pros:

Comfortable room with 2 chairs. We like the upgraded Hotels and the extra features provided.

Cons:

No fresh pancakes for breakfast! Some of the hotels now have Pancake makers.

Excellent and will definitely return
Pros:

Great facilities, staff were really friendly, lovely food and everything we needed here!

Cons:

We had a double room and sofa bed for our son but the room wasn’t big enough - you couldn’t move around the beds, they were literally side by side so needs to be more space to enjoy it comfortably. We will definitely return to the hotel but need 2 rooms
