Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh M3, jct13 by IHG

The hotel in itself is lovely, rooms are clean and it was very accommodating for kids. I came with my family and 2 year old that had so much fun at the pool and play room. The staff are also all amazing I wish I could put all names but Dom stood out. He always checked up on us both days we stayed and we found his customer service 10/10. Would 100% return to this hotel !

Amazing friendly helpful customer service. Staff in restaurant bar very friendly and we opted for small plates sharer, good quality food and good portions. Nice breakfast, lots of choice. Clean room very large bed.

Lovely hotel and Staff ,stayed here for 1 night , I recently had a hip replacement and Tahanie on reception changed me to an accessible room which was a godsend and also arranged for a late checkout as I am a rewards member and was just a lovely helpful person. I would also like to thank the bar person and the breakfast person who again were lovely and helpful. Overall a lovely night at a great hotel and I'm already looking forward to returning in September 5 stars

Well-maintained hotel, cleanliness and order in rooms and common areas. Excellent breakfast and very good menu as far as restaurant service is concerned. Presence of a swimming pool and a well-stocked gym, both very clean. The real added value is the staff: very kind and always available, in perfect English style. It is a pleasure to be a guest of them.

Dominic and the team in the restaurant were absolutely fantastic.

Came in for breakfast with my family and the service was amazing. We were greeted by Emma on reception who was so polite and directed us to the restaurant where we were then greeted by Dominic who was so happy and friendly. Everyone who we encountered were just as nice I believe it was Dani, Matt and Syed who were working on the day. But shout out to everyone and we will definitely be back!

Stayed here for three nights and could not fault it.

Friendly, helpful reception staff and a nice ambience throughout the hotel. Our room was large, modern and bright; it was also spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and very comfy.

We had one dinner and one breakfast during our stay and we enjoyed both - good choice of food, well presented and great taste. Also the service at dinner was excellent.

The pool looked lovely but we only used the gym which was perfectly adequate for our needs.

Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

Great location for Peppa Pig world. Very clean hotel with friendly and polite staff throughout the hotel who went above and beyond and really made an effort with the kids. We chose this hotel because it had the added bonus of a swimming pool and im glad we did! We will definitely be back.

Booked the hotel as spent the day shopping in Southampton. Hotel is 20 mins from West Quay.

Positives;
Staff members are so lovely and welcoming, right from reception through to breakfast!!
Cookies and milk for children at night was lovely touch.
Beds super comfy.
Interconnecting rooms for our friends to be next door.
Swimming pool area was bigger than we thought it would be.

Negatives;
You only have 45 min allocated swim and the swimming pool closes at 7.45pm.

Would recommend staying here to anyone with families, if just adults would probably re think.

We have stayed here regularly for past 8 years… made it through their renovations! Great staff and comfortable beds!
Had our meal in restaurant last night served by a lovely waitress, Louise. Chatted and it ended up costing me a fortune in buying Lego that her son had done, for my grandsons!
Food wise last night… I had a starter only.. waffles with bbq pork. It was HUGE!!! It should’ve been either a sharing platter for 4…. Or on the main meal section. 3 of these dishes were sold lady night and not one finished it! Huge waste of food. But the pork was good!
Macrame curry… had by hubby every visit. But this time it was covered with red chillies. Even removing them it was still too hot in places where he’d missed the chill! This type of curry doesn’t need chillies. If you want to serve them, do so in a small pot on the side.
Other than that… great place to stay.

Stayed several times before and always been pleased both with the hotel (location, etc..) and the people (who on this particular stay went above and beyond). The rooms are a good size, bathroom is close to needing an update but it was spotlessly clean. Overall a great place to stay.

We stayed one night before visiting Paultons Park. Room was ok, nothing special. Food was ok, and kids eat free. Playroom is a bit neglected, toys are broken/missing parts and it’s quite boring. Cup of milk and cookie for child before bedtime it’s nice touch. Car park is good. Will probably use again if we go to Paultons Park.

Stayed while visiting Guernsey for business. Hotel overall is very nice, nice resturant/lobby area & great rooms. They lady when we checked in was a bit rude & abrupt. Every question or response was met with a very sharp answer.

We also stayed during the half term so the hotel was rammed. Restaurant full so ate out one nice & ordered seconded. Food however is good but reminded me of theme park food. Cheap but tasty.

Overall, a decent stay.

Stayed here for 2 weeks whilst on business in the local area. The staff were ever so helpful and friendly. Embarrasses me that I cannot remember the names of the restaurant staff but they were ever so attentive, helpful and friendly ensuring my drinks glass was never empty and my belly was full. Rooms very comfortable and quiet. Would happily stay again.

I stay in this hotel once a month for business and I am always made to feel welcome. My wife comes along to use the gym and pool and the team always look after her.
Can get a bit crazy around teatime with kids, but if you plan your time you can find a peaceful slot.

Great hotel, brilliant facilities and perfect spot for families with younger children. Hotel had everything we needed and provided a little welcome pack for the kids along with a voucher for milk and cookies which they loved. The play room is excellent and pool was very clean
