The location is fine, but the hotel seems a little shabby and run down.
Hotel was easy to get to. staff very accomodating, we had an issue with soemthing not working it was instantly repaired. room was clean and tidy. access to the swimming pool which was great when travelling with a young child. lovely breakfast. Great value for money
Conveniently located just a short drive outside Chester in a quiet location with good parking. Great welcome from staff at Reception and a pleasant meal in the hotel restaurant on our first night of a four-night stay. Very good gym facilities and pool added to the stay. It’s very reasonably priced with good breakfasts and a great base for going further afield. We drove to Conwy and Anglesey and spent another day in Liverpool, about 40 mins away. We’d stay here again.
This is obviously nothing to do with the hotel, but there’s a very tricky road junction to cross to get into Chester. It took us a couple of trips to work it out! So many traffic lights and lanes - the Highway Agency needs to take a look!
Great location. Staff friendly. Got cheap deal which was good.
Needs a refurbishment as rooms and pool changing rooms very run down. Also more attention to detail with cleaning. Radiator was so dusty and had another persons top stuffed behind it. Needs a good deep clean.
The property was in a good location and only a short uber to the centre of chester, it had lots of facilities like a pool, jacuzzi and gym.
The car park is not managed by the hotel and if there is a problem the hotel cannot help you.

Beautiful grounds, breakfast very good esp the different egg choice and pastries. Excellent coffee machine, don’t change it! Location also very good.
Mattresses on bed could be comfier, steam room not very hot and often no staff at reception/bar area.
Breakfast was lovely especially the mushrooms
First of all we were the furthest away from reception had room changed but there was a fridge in first room not second which I needed for medication so asked on reception to say fridges are only in special rooms we have stayed there many times and always had a fridge
