Staff were lovely from the front desk to bar staff. Excellent food had a delicious burger and drinks were a reasonable price as well. Rooms were clean and very easy to find.
There wasnt anything that didnt like about this stay.
Large, spacious and comfortable family room. The room.was a perfect temperature.
Lovely warm swimming pool, and the health suite facilities were great.
There was no hot water when we were there!

Female member of staff on the bar was a bit miserable. She was polite but no smile and you could tell she didn't want to be there. Maybe it was just a bit of an off day.

The Bathroom was a bit old fashioned with a bath , would have been better with a walk in shower cubicle.

The rooms were very basic and tired, compact bed and worn bathroom that needed some TLC. Not unclean but generally underwhelming.

£238 for one night in this dump - whole place stank of damp !! The interior of the rooms are literally made of plastic- plastic bedside tables etc - whole hotel is majorly dated and stinks. Stear clear

Have stayed at Mercure hotels in several international places. This one had very minimalistic decor in the lobby, restaurant, bar, and rooms. Food options limited for dinner but adequate for breakfast. For a one night stay it was OK.

Bead was not properly made.
I booked a double room (2single beds) we were given a double room with one bed.
The dressing gowns in the room had clearly not been changed as a previous guests inhaler was in one of the pockets
Lovely hotel, great breakfast and restaurant but need to drive/ bus it to Chester dirty centre
Lovely hotel but spa facilities a little dated and weird as you somethings have to share it with kids swimming classes so lots of parents on the side and can feel quiet uncomfortable when it’s supposed to be relaxing. They need to seperate swimming lessons from so more of a simple fix than a complaint.
