Great breakfast room comfortable
Bar staff slow not always behind bar had to wait
Clean and spacious room and well priced
Bit warm in the room
the pool and steam room were nice
the wifi was cutting out a lot and the tiles on the bathroom were all cracked, the room smelled like smoke and the water pressure in the shower was strong at all, the bed was comfortable but basic and could have had more pillows or blankets and then glass on the side tables was coming off.
Price! At £62 a night incl breakfast what’s not to like. Free on-site parking and convenient for park and ride. Friendly and quick check-in. Comfortable bed so we had a decent nights sleep. Reasonable breakfast but poor quality (eggs dried up, black pudding heat hardened and tomatoes looked like crisps! Bacon, sausage, mushrooms were tasty though!
Room was cold on arrival and the hotel requires some element of refurbishment. Our room felt bare and uninviting however with the absolute minimum furniture I.e. a bed, one chair and a t.v. Several ‘shelves’ around the room looked very odd. The radiator leaked profusely once turned on leaving a very wet carpet in the room! Lots of cracked floor tiles in the bathroom and standing water behind the toilet!!!! I was too late in the day to complain after a long journey so we put up with the inconvenience for one night. We did let the desk know about the cold room and leaking radiator.
The property was lovely and reception staff very polite
I paid for a privilege room and wasn’t given one I was given a basic room, so we had no coffee machine as advertised and I paid for, no robe and slippers and no newspapers either very disappointing as was for my partner 40th birthday
Awesome 👌
Nothing!
Very friendly staff in reception, hotel was clean and comfortable, plenty of parking and less than a 10 minute drive to the town centre. Good breakfast
Not necessarily the hotels fault but there were some really noisy guests on our floor (seemed like groups of young men) making a lot of noise returning from a night out, vomiting, shouting & slamming doors. They disturbed what would have been a peaceful night's sleep.
We also booked a privilege room but didn't seem to get one, the rooms was spacious non the less and I think the only thing missing was the coffee machine, not the end of the world but guests should really get the room they paid for.
Great hotel, helpfull staff, good food and drinks
The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The TV was a great size and plenty of choice of programmes. Bathroom was a little dull but functional and clean.
Restaurant is dingy, looking more like a cafe than a restaurant. Breakfast was ok but as with most buffets, the food wasn't that warm. However, I didn't leave hungry.
Staff where good and rooms where clean fresh towels provided daily.
The hotel spa facilities where dated.
Lockers woudnt work
Nice location just out from the city. It was clean and tidy with very friendly staff
