Modern, good facilities, friendly helpful staff and an excellent breakfast
Everything was very acceptable
We liked the swimming pool and the place is always very clean
There was no air conditioning in the rooms and it was unbearably hot, one small fan made little difference and the windows don't open fully.
I would not book here again in hot weather.
The room was excellent.
When we arrived to checkin we were told that the IT system had been down since the previous evening and we were asked to return after an hour. When we did this we were told it was still not fixed and they could not say when we could check in. Frankly this should not have been our problem; a large business like this should have a business continuity plan and they had nearly 24 hours to solve the issue. We returned 2 hours later and were checked in manually on paper. This should have been ready by the earliest checkin time. There was no offer of drinks or refreshments, no offer of complimentary breakfast or anything else to mitigate the feeling that we were a nuisance they wanted to go away.

The hotel pool was closed so that spoiled our planned afternoon, just a notice on reception desk. I received several emails prior to our stay but it was not mentioned their major attraction was unavailable. Sign gone next day so we were hopeful but only jacuzzi and sauna, steam room open. Who wants sauna and steam room in current weather conditions??
Very disappointed indeed. Room ok, bathroom needed deep clean and touch up repairs. Also quite noisy. So overall not what we had hoped for Fathers day and birthday celebration.
Bedroom clean and comfy
Swimming pool out of action for the entire 2 day break . We'd booked the hotel for the pool facilities! Bar was expensive .
Air-conditioning was exceptionally good, breakfast set up was good.
Queen sized bed was very comfy
Hotel needs bringing upto date, feels like its stuck in the past, old carpets stains etc.
grouting in bathroom floor is dangerous as there feels like sharp tiles against your feet,
Towels and linen has a distinct odour throughout which smells like food, not great when your stepping out the shower drying yourself smelling of food.
The friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed and a good range of breakfast choices. The swimming pool with sauna and steam room much appreciated after a long car journey. And we appreciated the free drinks in the fridge.
The room decor was clean, but slightly tired in places. Also, the swimming pool changing rooms had definitely seen better days.

The room had no breeze,was like a oven 24 hours a day,no relief,pipes boiling hot which made the room more unbearable,no fridge to have cold drink,very disappointed for the money i spent
The staff was really nice and helpful. They really made us and our family feel special during our trip. The pool is lovely and perfect with children. The breakfast was surprisingly good too
The place is quite outdated and could use some work to freshen up.
