Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, ideal for a one night stopover and not expensive. We didn’t use the health club.
The walls were thin and a phone alarm vibrating in the room next door woke me up really early.
Breakfast was good, and availability of oat milk was an unexpected bonus.
No lift available when walking to upstairs room with luggage. The bedroom smelled strongly of cigarettes. No water provided in room. No aircon which is a real issue on a sunny day due to the large windows in the room.
Good location with easy access to other towns. Room was clean and staff were very helpful.
The fan provided in the room was a bit noisy and would not revolve.

Staff were great and obliging, especially DG, they moved my mum to help her mobility issues. Brealfast was fine.
My room however was noisy due to stair access, no comfy chair. Evening meal was disappointing. Cold and undercooked vegatables.
Good location and spacious well equipped bedroom
No lift and waiting for food to be replenished at breakfast. waited more than ten minutes with no apologies from staff.
Mecure Chester Abbots Well Hotel is still as clean as ever. My Husband and I are return-guests and enjoyed our stay.

Wifi was a bit slow
The location
The mattress top was very bitty and wobbly so had to lie on a towel
Crack in the sink and the bath
The room was clean and in good repair, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was well cooked and the self service worked fine, all in all a very good experience. The only issue was that there were no drawers in the room to allow you to unpack properly.
Breakfast was great and beds are so comfy
The room was dated and needed cleaning. No hot water for a shower and mentioned on check out wasn't really acknowledged.

The room itself is dated especially the bathroom. The bathroom needs to be replaced completely it was that bad.
No air con in the room and the fans provided were rubbish.

Good Location
Property is old, bathroom is mouldy, the building is extremely warm. Bed uncomfortable, pillows were hard and old. Defiantly not a 4 star hotel
