Pot holes on roadway and needs refurbishing
Zeer vriendelijke dame achter de receptie. Nadat ik aangaf dat mijn kamer niet aan mijn verwachtingen voldeed, kreeg ik zonder moeite een andere kamer. Hier was niks op aan te merken.
De jongedame in de bar en het restaurant was ook erg aardig en behulpzaam. Haar mannelijke collega (zwarte krullen en bril) had er overduidelijk minder zin in en dat was aan alles te merken.
De eerste kamer. De helft van de vloer was bedekt met goedkope kille badkamer tegeltjes dat overliep in tapijt. De inrichting oogde erg goedkoop en de gordijnen waren gescheurd en hingen er wat treurig bij. De algemene sfeer was overwegend depressief.

Room was clean, bed comfortable if a little on the large size. Quiet, a very peaceful nights sleep.
We had no problems in our short stay.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and seemed happy to be there which was nice to see.
The only negative thing I can comment on was the heating in the room, it was like a sauna and the rads don't turn off only down.
Location was good, straight forward checkin, lovely staff. Comfortable bed and it was quiet.
The room smelled as if it had been smoked in. It smelt like it was in the curtains and carpet. I did let the reception know and she did offer to change me but I was only there the night so I didnt bother.
The car park pot holes were appalling. The room decoration and bathroom were dated. Needs investment. The external painting and overall appearance needs a face-lift.

Great location near Motorway and good for visiting Leeds Castle. very friendly staff and great response to my questions prior to check in. Nice comfy room, great bed. also very much enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna!! sadly couldn't taste the brekki as had to leave early but got a take away bag. Thank you all very much!!
The USB charging port near the bed didn't work, so my phone was dead in the morning. small thing. can be fixed

Toilet flush didn’t work, so we were moved to another room. Tried to pay with our Maestro card (twice) but were told maestro cards don’t work. But the amount has been taken, twice, from our account!! They wanted us to pay with a different card but we refused - why on earth does the card machine say it was approved and successful and it has gone from our bank account (twice!) yet the hotel claimed it was not paid?? Ridiculous for a hotel that gets a lot of European guests. We were told someone from the hotel would call us to explain and take payment but no-one has called. Otherwise, this hotel was fine for an overnight stay on our way to a funeral.

A bit tired looking in places
Really good reception staff and the staff at breakfast the next morning were really good too! . Super efficient and helpful. The room was adequate with a very large bed - good array of tv channels on large enough TV. Overall room was good! Once again - The staff are the hotels best asset.
The room key didn't work the first time, however this was sorted very quickly without any fuss. Whilst the room was good a level access shower in the rooms would help many more people have a better stay as the bath is narrow and standing stock still to get a shower isn't the best. Another very minor thing - better quality coffee in the room sachets would go a long way. The only real issue was the prices for alcohol - being charged $13.40 for a large spirit with coke is exceptional - even for high end hotels.
