Fabulous.
Nothing.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety, and everything was fresh and well prepared.
The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere – it’s a perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family. The room was very clean, which made a big difference to our comfort.
The facilities were also great – we really liked the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and steam sauna. They added a relaxing touch to the whole experience.
For the price, it was honestly outstanding value.
A special mention to Poppy at reception – she was very kind, professional, and genuinely helpful, which we really appreciated.
Also, the design/arrangement prepared for us was beautiful and thoughtfully done.
Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay again.
The pool area felt a bit outdated and could benefit from refurbishment. For example, the men’s hairdryer wasn’t working, the flooring looked worn, and the indoor temperature was quite cold in the evenings.
Good location from Dover port
Very dirty, not a 4 star hotel at all. Room was horrible
Facilities and comfors nice people in hotel and lovely staff
Na
Staff were excellent, especially on reception
Nice warm room and bath
Having stayed at this
Property 20
Odd years ago nothing had changed -
Sadly a shadow of its former self. Very disappointed.
The cleanliness very dirty worn and stained carpets. Staff were rude and unhelpful.
Location, staff and price.
The room was uncomfortably hot as the heating was on in the hotel communal areas, although not in the rooms.
The privilege room was lovely, had everything expected, iron & ironing board, nesspresso coffee machine, robes and slippers, it was extremely clean, bed was very comfy and a nice view of the grounds and lake. I cannot fault the staff, everyone was so polite and friendly, the food wasn't particularly fancy, but what we did have was all very nice and the prices were very reasonable. The spa treatments were very enjoyable and the therapists were lovely.
The health facilities weren't exclusive to the hotel, it was also open to public memberships, although it was pleasant enough, it could do with some attention, it was not to the standard of the hotel.
The room was spacious, breakfast was enjoyable
Cleaning was not the best and bed/pillows were not great
So reasonably priced! Got a discounted room and free breakfast. Upgrades super cheap too. Lovely grounds. Bed comfy. Great breakfast!
Leisure facilities great! Open hours good.
Mum enjoyed a massage which was amazing!
Bit outdated but for the price what can you expect. Rooms newly decorated just windows and bits here and there! What we expected.
Absolutely fine for what we paid and everything clean!
Friendly staff, good facilities
Nothing
Staff were lovely, breakfast was great a lot of choice and tasty selections.
Rooms a bit out dated and I had to ask for a hair dryer, also the television didn’t work and when a gentleman came to check it out he discovered the wires were not connected ( bare wire) and he couldn’t do it himself?
so no television.
The sauna was not working and had not been for approximately a month.
As always, the staff are really nice and friendly. Our room is ideally situated and very comfy.
It really is getting very tired looking and would benefit from a facelift.
