Good stop spot
Pros:

Nice room, really good food for both breakfast and dinner. Such friendly staff and really helpful. A good place to stop with plenty of parking out front.

Cons:

The lift didn't go all the way to the ground floor from the bedroom floors which was difficult for those with mobility problems (we didn't have a wheelchair user with us, just walking difficulties so we managed, but it was annoying)

When I checked out I was charged for drinks on my room which were not mine. Staff did not quibble about it they immediately removed said drinks, so I was very impressed with the level of customer service to rectify the Hotel's mistake

Cons:

Staff in the bar / restaurant were quite young and inexperienced. This is probably how I ended up being charged for drinks which were not mine. Just little things like would you like any sauce with your food, I had to flag them down and ask. They walked past me a few times when I'd finished my food but no thought to ask if my food had been OK and take my plate away. In the end I flagged them down again asked for the bill, paid and left. Not major issues but just lacking in initiative but that's just young inexperienced staff I guess.

Good but dissapointing in the end
Pros:

Really nice place no complaints

Cons:

They gave me a parking ticket, I called to say it was faulty and they said they would remove it, whenever was on reception that day obviously forgot. Parking company tried to send a CCJ to my company and it caused me a whole load of stress.

Pros:

excellent breakfast, room very good, pity that we only used it for 7 hours sleep!

Cons:

tried to check in 30 minutes early and was told we would have to pay. We were going to a wedding and couldn't wait the extra 30 mins, we ended up leaving our bags in the office. We didn't return to the hotel until nearly midnight and then it took quite a while to get checked in. It would have been so much easier if we had been allowed to check in slightly early for free.

Location very close to Ledds Castle
Staff very friendly and accommodating in restaurant/ bar/ breakfast & reception

Cons:

No air con in bedroom..
Pool and jacuzzi area needs attention-carpet not good around jacuzzi- hygiene
paint work and ceiling- tatty- chipped-not sure what black stuff was ceiling above pool?
Nicer seating needed outside- massive space could make nicer
