The breakfast was lovely.
The hotel was grotty and not particularly clean. Every door frame and door in the hotel looked as if a dog had scratched and chewed it. It was absolutely boiling in the room windows only open a fraction which I understand due to health and safety but the fan that was provided was shocking so kept waking in the night boiling. The lighting in the room is terrible. The bathroom is tiny. Just overall will never stay here again. I wish I had taken pictures for proof as was awful!
When we arrived at the hotel as well the reception said that we hadn’t paid for our room which we had and it was nearly £250! Then said oh sorry I didn’t check the next bit that we had paid through booking.com. Was totally unacceptable as should have checked first before trying to say we hadn’t paid.
Close to where we wanted to go.
No air conditioning and having to book two days to get the day we really wanted to stay.
It was close to Leeds Castle (an event we were attending. A large car park. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Trying to find the room. The signage was poor. We were situated at the back end of the hotel, and even though there are lifts, theres still stairs in both directions to navigate (we were travelling and had two heavy suitcases). The room we had was small and dated. Not particularly comfortable. The bed was very bouncy waking us up whenever the other moved even slightly in bed. The cost of bar drinks £35 for a standard bottle of prosecco. Accor seems to offer good rates on rooms, but bump costs in other areas to make money. I had this experience with Mercure at Tunbridge Wells.
Stort hyggelig rom, meget god frokost.
Trivelig badevakt og resepsjonist
Varmt på rommet uten AC
de ligging
Een klein bloedheet kamertje waar zon vol op brand.
Ramen konden alleen op een kiertje.
Ideal location for Leeds Castle. The grounds are lovely. The staff & breakfast were great
Dated. Our room & particularly the bathroom desperately needed a refurb
The hotel was lovley
The room was so hot u juat couldn't sleep
breakfast was fabulous, lots of choices for Coeliac (Gluten Free) Room was large and clean
staff very helpful and pleasant
Dinner had only 1 Starter and 1 Dessert on the menu suitable for Gluten Free. No main Courses
Hotel a bit tired looking.
Room was quiet at night. Spacious grounds to walk in.
Room was small and tatty. Lots of broken furniture in grounds of hotel.
Lovely, comfortable babe. Lovely clean. Pool area
Lack of air conditioning in room
The hotel provided a really good breakfast. The room itself was clean and beds comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite.
The room was unbearably hot- so hot in fact we couldn't sleep. Even though a fan was provided it was on a timer switch so that we had to restart it every 2 hours. This is not a new problem, we had the same issue last year. This year we decided to try out the pool facilities- this area is desperately in need of a total refurb.
Location for Leeds Castle Concert is fantastic. Staff were professional and helpful.
Sink blocked so filling up when brushing our teeth and took ages to drain. Carpets dusty along skirting boards.
Very nice breakfast with nice views of park and good Aircon
Our room 220 was a bit shabby and small and very hot.
Mattresses were very comfortable.
Shower was a bit pathetic and toilet didn’t always flush
