Værelset vi havde booket med Balkon var rigtig dejligt. Morgenmaden der blev serveret var fantastisk.

Cons:

Pool og Spa i kælderen fungerede ikke optimalt. Boblebadet virkede ikke den dag vi var dernede.

Gorgeous hotel with wonderful staff
Pros:

We stayed in a superior room for 3 nights which was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel is situated very close to bars /restaurants , however the rooms are so well insulated, that we didn't hear any street noise at all.
The staff at Vivaldi were always happy to help with any request. I would highly recommend staying here, already looking forward to visiting again next year!

Malta ist überbewertet, leidet unter Dürre und Verkehr sowie Touristenmassen.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist, wenn man die Häßlichkeit des Stadtteils St. Julian's berücksichtigt, sehr gut. Denn das Vivaldi (keinesfalls zu verwechseln mit dem in Sichtweite direkt neben einer Großbaustelle gelegenen und zum gleichen Konzern gehörenden Hotel Verdi) liegt fast direkt am Strand, nur von 2 relativ ruhigen Straßen umgeben, in Sichtweite des Casinos. Bus nach Valletta und zum Flughafen hält direkt vor dem Hotel !
Ungewöhnlich guter Zimmerservice, freundliches und höfliches Personal überall, sehr schöne große Zimmer, die tadellos sauber sind.
》》 Es empfiehlt sich allerdings die Buchung eines Zimmers mit Meerblick, denn das sind die besten 《《
Früstücksangebot sehr reichlich, separate Bar mit arabisch- vegetarischen Gerichten, großes Saftangebot, wunderbares maltesisches Brot usw.
Ein schöner Dachpool im 7. Stock mit weitem Blick über das Meer und einer gut bestückten Bar, kleiner Imbiss zu günstigen Preisen.
Insgesamt wurden unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen.

IM HOTEL hat uns wirklich alles gefallen.

Das Vivaldi-Hotel kann ja nichts dafür, dass
- der Ort eine Großbaustelle ist (vom Pool aus waren 6 Kräne zu sehen)
- der Baulärm werktags bis in das oberste Stockwerk dringt
- im Ortszentrum eine riesige Zahl von Kneipen und Bars vorhanden ist, wo innen und außen angeheiterte und teilweise laute Besucher* innen Dauerparty feiern
- leider Müll auf den Straßen und kaputte Gehsteige auffallen
- der Großraum Valletta im Verkehr erstickt, was Fahrten mit den preisgünstigen öffentlichen. Bussen wie auch mit den zahllosen Bolt-Taxis zur Geduldsprobe macht.

Kühlschrank defekt. Klimaanlage ohne Funktion. Waschbecken Abfluss verstopft. WC spülen hat nicht immer funktioniert. .
