Please note that if paying in cash, guests are welcome to pay in Peruvian Soles or US Dollars (based on the property's exchange rate of the day of payment).
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.
Children from 04 up to 11 years old will be accommodated free of charge sharing bed with one or two adults, you only have to assume the cost of breakfast.
Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.
Pets are allowed for an extra charge of USD 32 per accommodations, per night. We enjoyed our stay at Costa del Sol. The hotel is located in a quiet area surrounded by parks, and it’s a pleasant short walk to the historical center (about 10–15 minutes depending on where you go). The room we reserved was spacious and beautifully designed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was of great quality.
The coffee quality could be further improved, especially considering that Peru produces such excellent coffee :)

To begin - the service and care from the entire Wyndham Team from welcoming to departing has been very enjoyable. Oscar de La Hoya, every morning at breakfast greeted me and shared little tid bits of information! He even remembered my omelet order!
The history of this hotel is incredibly important - it is one of the first hotels in the entire country of Peru and orginal government owned.
The Galápagos Islands Tortoise is around 150 years old and is expected to live to 300 years old! This is not an exaggeration or typo--- she was brought to the hotel as a present from the President of Ecuador when she was around 70 years old.
The grounds are surrounded by a wonderful garden - they use herbs, vegetables and flowers from it!
The hotel is historic and is maintained to keep its originality. The rooms are huge and spacious!
You will absolutely love your stay! The breakfast buffet is absolutely five-stars! The lunch and dinner options are incredible---- you could stay here and such a wonderful experience of Arequipa and Peru --- please go out and enjoy the historic area and sites!
The Wyndham Costa Del Sol is a beautiful and welcoming hotel near the central city. The services are excellent, the restaurant options are varied and well prepared and the location provides easy access to the central plaza. My wife and I had a wonderful visit.

The pool and grounds are lovely. Breakfast had a great variety. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Super efficient and cheery porters. Very comfy bed.
The interior of the hotel is really gloomy and the carpet is definitely past its best. The service is not 5 star as staff seem to be covering more than one role/station so pool bar often had no one there for example. Small touches missing like no pool towels available so we had to go back to reception to request them, no soap next to the basin in the bathroom.

El jardín muy lindo, el Jacuzzi limpio y muy agradable. Todo muy limpio lo que hace súper agradable la estancia, a mi hijo le encantó conocer a Juanita, las instalaciones lindas.
Falta aire acondicionado en el baño, mi habitación muy fría. Pedí un taxi el cual nunca llegó.
Hotel and service including breakfast service is great. Oscar is paying a lot of attention for the needs of the clients in a friendly way. Setting the table to create the right breakfast atmosphere and caring for extra wishes to make the beginning of the day a most pleasant time.
Always a quiet and comfortable stay. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fresh and delicious with excellent service. Oscar was our waiter in the mornings and got to know our order so food and drinks came quickly and hot.

Daniel was a real gentleman and went so far out of his way to make our stay a special ecperience. The location of this hotel, the tranquility of the setting and the elegance of the facilities are incomparable. It would be a disastrous mistake to stay anywhere else in Arequipa!
