In accordance with local tax regulations, Peruvian citizens (and foreign guests staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional 18% tax. To be exempt from this additional charge (IGV), guests must present a copy of their immigration card and passport. Both documents are required to qualify for the exemption. If either document is not presented, the corresponding tax must be paid.
Foreign guests traveling for business who request a printed invoice must also pay this additional 18%, regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This amount is not automatically included in the total reservation cost.
Children:
Children aged 4 to 11 stay free of charge when sharing a bed with one or two adults; they are only required to pay for breakfast.
Pets:
Guests may stay with their dog (pet), provided they comply with the admission policies. An additional fee of USD 38 per pet per night applies (taxes not included). Only one pet per room is allowed. Reservations must be requested at least 2 days in advance.
Only pets weighing up to 18 kg are permitted. At check-in, guests must present certificates issued by a licensed veterinarian (or competent authority) confirming that the pet has been vaccinated and dewormed within the last 6 months.
In accordance with Peruvian law, potentially dangerous breeds such as American Pitbull, Dogo, Rottweiler, Doberman, among others, are not allowed. Only dogs are permitted, and food and water bowls are available on loan.
For guide dogs, guests must present a certificate issued by CONADIS (or the relevant authority) confirming the need for assistance. If this certification is not provided, the corresponding pet fee will apply.
Pets may not be left alone in the room.

El hotel es estéticamente impecable y las habitaciones son sumamente cómodas. Quiero destacar especialmente al personal; se nota que están muy bien capacitados y mantienen una atención de primera clase a pesar de las circunstancias.
Lamentablemente, mi estancia coincidió con el alojamiento de un equipo de fútbol, lo cual arruinó por completo la experiencia de un hotel exclusivo. El lobby y los exteriores se convirtieron en una "tribuna": barras bravas obstruyendo la entrada, ruidos constantes, cánticos durante horas y una cantidad considerable de suciedad y basura en las afueras.
Es una lástima que un establecimiento de esta categoría priorice contratos grupales que degradan su estatus. La logística para atender a un equipo masivo afecta directamente la tranquilidad de los turistas. Pasó de ser un refugio exclusivo a sentirse como un hotel de paso para deportistas. No volvería sin antes asegurar que no habrá eventos similares.
Great hotel for a night of luxury in Arequipa. The junior suites are very roomy and comfortable. Breakfast is abundant in the mornings and the gym/pool/spa are all nice facilities to use.

Stayed 2 nights at Wyndham Costa del Sol Arequipa and honestly it was disappointing.
The hotel feels old and not well maintained. The pool was dirty and the water was cold, so not enjoyable at all. In general, the place needs a serious refresh.
Service was not great either. Staff were not welcoming and not very helpful, I never really felt comfortable there. At breakfast, service was slow — I got my coffee when I had already finished eating. Also, if you want something simple like an omelette, you have to pay extra, which is a bit much.
The room had a bad smell, like an old basement, which made it unpleasant to stay in. We were 3 people (including a child) and they only left 2 towels and 2 bottles of water. When I asked for one more bottle, they told me to take it from the minibar… of course overpriced.
The hotel has non smoking policy, which I can understand that rooms and in side area were non smoking. But what a surprise, you can’t even smoke in the bar outside. We don’t smoke cigarettes, but my husband enjoys cigar to relax when on vacation. What a disappointment for him ( extra for me as I have reserved the hotel). The reply from the receptionist when we asked was : Yes, I know it’s hard, I smoke too!!!! So we enjoyed the rooftops in city instead staying at the hotel.
Location is about a 10-minute walk from the center, but the area doesn’t feel very safe, especially compared to staying directly in the center. After going out, we found much nicer hotels and restaurants there, many with rooftops and great views.
Also, I’ve seen reviews from last year mentioning the exact same issues, so I don’t really want a standard reply from the hotel saying they will improve — clearly nothing has changed.
Overall, not worth it, even for a short stay. I would recommend staying in the city center instead.

Lots of green around the hotel and worth getting a garden view room.

Staff were very attentive and friendly, offering help where they could.
Great facilities overall. It is not right in the center but we knew that and made that choice.
One of the porters was amazing ( cannot remember his name). We had to get a doctor, which reception helped with and he was helping with language, sorting taxi and just being very friendly.
The rooms do not have a kettle. Instead they have a nespresso machine and people are told to use that without a pod for hot water.
They provide single use throwaway plastic cups in the rooms instead of standard cups, which is a major dissapointment.
For a 5 star hotel this is a bit of a letdown
