The front desk lady was friendly and helpful
The pool was closed, no breakfast, the room smelled like wet dog.
Nothing
Everything there is homeless people living inside and outside of the hotel the beds are dirty and nasty the room is cole the water doesn't work I left the place and did not stay didn't get my money back either BOOKING.COM GETS AN F
This place is not a good place to stay. I agree wholeheartedly with the other April 2026 review. We used to stay here with great success, but it has deteriorated and needs a total overhaul. GO elsewhere!
I really should have read the reviews. The ones rating it a 1 star are absolutely correct. Even down to the marijuana smell and the stray cat in the lobby. They leave the front door always open and so stray cats come and go into the lobby. When I entered the first comment from the gal at the lobby, was that there is no free breakfast, the pool is out of order, and that if we want a refund and would like to go to another hotel, she will be happy to issue the refund. Well, that was quite the first impression. I stay at Homewood suites all over TX, OK and LA weekly. So, I know a thing or two about what a good hotel is and what it is not. The front desk lady did say that the hotel is under new management. Well, new management, you have a lot of work to do. Items that need addressing right away. Get the homeless and drugs off your property. Get a groundskeeper. The grass has yet to be mowed this season. Take down your ads of pool and free breakfast, if you are not offering them. Get the front door to close, not just stay open. Fix your front desk computer. I too was told that there were issues with the front desk computer when I asked for my room key. My digital room key did not work for my room or for any of the rooms. My couch cushions in my room have non matching covers and cigarette burns. This is the dumpiest Homewood Suites that I have ever been to. I am hoping that this information gets to the parent company as this needs to be shut down, cleaned up before offering hotel services again. What a tarnish on the Hilton Brand. I am calling it as I see it.
The location was fairly close to great attractions
The property needs to be shut down the pool is out of order and has been for several months. Also they aren’t serving breakfast those were the main reasons my family stayed
The location.
Pool was not working, breakfast wasn’t served.
They canceled me because of the ice and freeze - and I’m still paying until I hear you refined my payment
They showed I was already canceled when we went in two days before the big freeze in Dallas.
There was no breakfast im very upaet
There was no free breakfast and the pool was closed. It ws hot. Thea air conditioner wasn't working proprty.
The service was slow. But the staff was nice.
Everything was horrible. The service was slow. No one at the front desk when we arrived. Check-in took way longer than necessary. The area was industrial looking, not the best but not horrible either. Hotel overall was not well kept. Pool was out of service. Was told that they were not offering complimentary breakfast, which I do not mind since we usually don't get it anyway. Our huge issue was that our door didn't automatically lock when closed. We were heading out to dinner when we noticed this. I didn't notice but my husband did. He said you should hear the automatic lock click into place when the door closes. Without the key, I pushed the door to the room and it opened. We tried pulling it shut multiple times and waiting 20 seconds to see if it will automatically lock on its own. But that didn't work, the door would still open without a key card. So we grabbed all of our stuff and went back downstairs. Told the front staff that the door didn't automatically lock when closed. Staff told us that they will look at another room for us. They found us another room with a door that would lock but the hinge on the doors were broken. At that point we didn't want to stay anymore. Asked for a refund, which the staff was more than willing to oblige. For which we are grateful. But we would not recommend this place at all if you are in the DFW area. We ended up further north in the Plano area and loved it there.
N/a
When I booked my room I was under the impression the pool would be open and breakfast would be served as well get there she informs me they were not able to provide both of those features so I cancel my room and left
The place needs someone to care for it. They have maintenance issues everywhere.
It was quiet. Bed room was clean and comfortable.
Kitchen facility was good for me.
The shower did not drain fully. The living room couch had shredded and torn cushions. Breakfast was quoted in booking, when checking in was told they were not serving breakfast. Coffee in lobby in the morning only good one day, the second day it was luck warm at best and horrible.
Was in Dallas to attend a wedding. Had stayed here previously with no problems. Wow things have changed. The front doors were both broken - it was COLD and impossible to stay warm in the lobby. Spent two nights there and doors were still broken when we left. I consider this a security problem too. Had we not had time restrictions because of wedding events, we would have moved elsewhere. We had a first-floor room that was also affected by the doors being open. We realized we didn't have any light bulbs in our lamps (all lighting in bedrooms) and I went down and asked for light bulbs and the response "we will have to see if we have any" - I was not acknowledged by the person who checked me in except with I need your credit card (I am a Diamond Hilton member and my credit card is on file) - I could go on and on but will take up too much room. Room was filthy - commode would not flush. I asked to see a manager - was told they didn't have one - some man finally came to the desk and told me he worked for corporate and was trying to work things out but did not assist me in any way.
location and room layout
Concierge was barely at the front desk. Pool was closed. Shower head was faulty and the water ran cold a few times. the room also had an odd smell to it…
To all state agencies, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL LOCATION! When I arrived, the sliding front doors were broken to the point where I had to open the doors with my hands. This location also advertised free breakfast but does not offer it nor do they offer the snack shop that is usually by the front desk and when I ask them about it, they cannot provide an answer. The hotel itself looks run-down. Housekeeping seems non-existent as they never came to my room during my stay (five days). The hotel looks like it’s in a bad area. If you need extra towels, forget it, because every time I asked for a specific towel, they always stated that only have one on none at all and some of the staff members seemed to have bad attitudes with no manager onsite to assist with any issues. I will always love staying at Hilton but not this location. If you want to stay at this hotel, even for one night, DON’T DO IT……Spend your money elsewhere.
Like others have said, this is a place to avoid. It's an older property that's in desperate need of renovation, but maybe the owners just don't care anymore? The initial experience at check-in was the first sign I wasn't in for a good experience. I had to get the clerk's attention as she playing with her phone. No mention was made of not having breakfast either. When I asked why there was no breakfast, the morning clerk said something about not getting a shipment. From other reviews here, I call BS on that. Could they at least put a sign at the front desk warning guests that breakfast is not offered?
There were scuff marks all over the hallway wallpaper. Carpets were dirty. My room was okay, but it was advertised as "premium." I didn't see anything premium about it. No snacks or anything to differentiate it from a regular room. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk could not tell me what makes it premium. The tub surface had pieces missing, and the floor towel had stains on it. The pillows are smaller than usual hotel pillows. At least the room was quiet while I was there and the A/C worked well. At one point early in the stay, the fire alarms went off briefly. Later, I could smell cigarette smoke strongly in the hallway- it is a nonsmoking hotel. This place is definitely not up to the standards of a regular Homewood. It was definitely one of the poorest hotel experiences I've ever had. I've had better stays at Super 8.
This is a tired hotel in need of renovation. Started off by entering a room that was occupied by someone else. Oops, the front desk thought the room was empty! All night listened to the foot steps of the people above me. What were they doing up at 2.45AM? The front door doesn’t close, so the lobby was very cold in the morning. Also couldn’t find any breakfast that they offered. Hmmm. Front desk said ‘Sorry, none today’. Not what I expected from Hilton.
Stort køleskab og fryser
Ingen morgenmad selvom de reklamerede med det.
Brandalarmen startede 3 gange midt om natten.
Kold spa-ubrugeligt.
Der var kun 1 seng selvom vi bestilte 2. “Seng 2” var åbenbart en sovesofa der ikke var gjort klar. Intet lagen dyne eller pude. Den var horribel at sove på.
Intet plads på værelset.
