I was able to pay for an upgrade facing the ocean.
The heater didn’t work, the second day maintenance came in to fix. The bar didn’t have the bottle of wine they said they did (poor inventory watching), housekeeping didn’t show up til 3 ( I was getting ready for dinner so didn’t get my room cleaned the first day, but they came the second, and specifically wanted to know what I wanted replaced. I wanted the room cleaned, I didn’t want to tell them their job. Other than that, nice location and friendly knowledgable check on staff.
Price too high.
Breakfast was excellent. Great quality and the service was great. Miss Shelley was very accommodating and super nice with our kids. The hotel is clean, welcoming and really nice

Breakfast meal included with stay. I would have rathered it be a buffet or something the family can eat themselves instead of having servers and having to sit down. It took longer to eat/get food when they were busy.

My room was very clean, quite and comfortable. I liked that breakfast started at 6am. The front desk staff and food workers were all very nice and helpful. it was the best Hotel I have stayed in at Daytona.

Did not like having to pay for Parking ,seemed pretty excessive, as much as we are paying for the room .
The facility was wonderful. Great staff and service. The room was great. Beach access was perfect for my family. Loved that it was pet-friendly!

One employee attempted to lock the gate early regardless of the time being 10pm. In this case you can't get back in unless finding public access to walk along the road back.

Beach
The staff did not look happy. Most our the encounter with the employees seems to be on the defensive side. Breakfast has a big breakdown. The 2 waitresses did every thing they could to handle the volume of customers. They seems to be very short of staff. We will not recommend and we will never come back.
Great experience from beginning to end especially Brittny in the breakfast dining room! She was friendly and very attentive which was very mush appreciated! The front destroyer staff were also friendly and accommodating for both check-in and check-out. The room was quite comfortable and very clean offering a great oceanfront view. For a quick overnight stay I was not able to take advantage of other amenities the hotel has to offer. Parking was a breeze but included a $10/ day fee for non-gated access which seems to becoming more frequent at both Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn properties I've stayed at. Despite this, I defiantly recommend staying at this property!
