Very disappointing.
Pros:

Very basic room furnishing. Missing furniture? Wanted to charge me for complimentary bottle of water. Some gym équipement didn't work and pool was close. Food in the asian courtyard was very bad.

Cozy home away from home
Pros:

The Hyatt Regency, on MLK, in Chicago is a beautiful facility to visit. The entire staff provided exceptional service: professional, friendly, great service. Rooms are well lit, spacious, and easy for travel--whether business, pleasure, or a combination.

Top shelf experience at a great price.
Pros:

I attended a conference there. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no check-in line, and I was able to check in early. The bed was so comfortable that I missed a couple of workshops (LOL). I appreciated the complimentary water and the filtered water available on every floor. Wi-fi was also great. I most frequently stay at Hilton or Marriott properties. I think Hyatt might be moving to the top.

Great hotel and stay
Pros:

I truly enjoyed my stay here. Centrally located near the downtown area, shopping and freeways. It's a nice open lobby area. Great restaurant options. We actually never had to leave. The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and clean. I liked it so much I have to return the following weekend and rebooked. The room rates are great too!

Better than home could ever be.
Pros:

Please take it from me, a person who has traveled throughout all the states and territories. Without doubt this is the best hotel in country.

Location great if you are visiting for a conference
Pros:

Another very good stay!
Pros:

Very nice hotel. Stayed there for the Chicago Auto Show. Room and common areas were clean. Service was friendly and helpful. Been there twice before in the past 9 years, and this stay was as good as the previous ones. Rate was reasonable for this type of hotel, and for its location.

Pros:

Front desk had great customer service. They were very polite, friendly & had smiles on their faces!

Cons:

Was not happy about having to pay $40 a night to park my vehicle in the parking garage that was attached to the hotel! Would've been nice to know this before we arrived.. Also our room key was supposed to get us in & out of the garage but it didn't work, then the proceeded to tell me that I was not listed in their computer system. They had to contact the front desk to make sure that we were guest there. We won't be staying here again. Overly priced especially for parking!

Great Stay by the Lake at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place
Pros:

Always a great stay at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. Close to great restaurants and tons of activities as well as shopping. The hotel is easily accessible on foot, by various CTA bus and train routes and there is a commuter train line that stops at the lower level of the building which is great for snowy, rainy or extremely hot weather days. Staff is super friendly and the facility is simply lovely.

Oddly sparsely furnished
Pros:

The room seemed under furnished. Other than a broken desk chair there was just a straight back chair in the corner of the room rather than something more comfortable. Flooring was some sort of tile with just a patch of carpeting around the bed.
