The breakfast buffet was very good! My server was Ruby and she was outstanding!!!
You could hear the construction. The bathroom toilet was very low. The main elevators were out of order so everyone used the service elevators.
Location, convenience, simple. Restaurant staff server and supervisor were great.
Expensive, elevator broken stairs don’t exit into building
My colleague and I were stranded in DFW after midnight, due to canceled flights from crazy weather, (as were hundreds of other travelers) and the client care team on-site had no openings when we first approached them, but the agents worked hard to assist us with where we could possibly find a place. After some time and multiple phone calls reaching out to other properties, the agents were able to make some re-arrangements at the Hyatt Regency on-site and provide a room for us. The facility was clean, quiet, safe, and beautiful, there were snacks and waters available, all hotel staff were professional and friendly. After a horrendous day with the airlines, it was an amazing relief to have this opportunity and get some uninterrupted rest, before starting it all again the following day.
Not worth pay8ng US$100...WAISTED MY MONEY paying US$460...
I should have stayed in other hotel, like Motel6 would be better...terrible cost/benefit.
I attended a conference at the Hyatt Regency and the hotel took care of all the details of my stay. They texted me prior to my arrival looking forward to see me. When I arrived at DFW I texted them back about how to arrange the shuttle and they immediately sent me a link to request the shuttle and the van showed up within 10 minute.
The front desk was so helpful and staff everywhere were very friendly. The convention food, and that from the store, was fantastic. Pillows were great. And even though we were out near the elevator, room was very comfortable. Unfortunately, they had only left decaf coffee pods in our room, but we fixed that the 2nd
Only one working elevator. I'm not even sure if that was fully operational. Waiting over 5 minutes for an elevator is unacceptable. Especially when it arrives completely full of other guests experiencing the same major inconvenience.
Friendly staff but the building is in dire need of updates. The elevators were barely operational, the walls of the rooms were paper-thin, and the construction of Terminal C around the hotel made parking a challenge.
The food was great a Jacobs Grille. The manager Wendy was great. Checking in Leilah was great and polite. Anya the text support and update person was very helpful and professional. On another note, elevators weren't working properly, my room was dated. My tub and toilet had plumbing issues and the maintenance guy left his work rag on my table. Housekeeping did keep my room clean otherwise. No one notified me that Maintenance would be in my room. I saw a note and a dirty orange rag when I returned from class.
My stay was a beautiful. There was a standby bus to take guests into town for free in the evenings, and food was on point. My room was cleaned everyday. Thank you Hyatt for making my stay beautiful.
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency DFW.
At present, there is undisclosed overnight construction. The constant, loud noise made sleeping impossible. What idiot thought overnight construction next to a hotel was a good idea?
While I understand that airport-area construction is outside the hotel’s direct control, the failure to disclose it in advance is inexcusable. Guests should be informed before arrival so they can make an informed decision. I ended up leaving after 1 a.m. and went to another hotel.
The room was clean but felt dated and underwhelming. Amenities were extremely limited for what is supposed to be an upscale, four-star Hyatt Regency property. No robe. No slippers. No mouthwash. No bottled water in the room. These are small things, but at this price point they matter — and their absence reinforces the sense that standards have slipped.
There is also no club lounge, which is supposed to be a brand standard.
Hyatt globalist recognition was nonexistent.
Basic requests were not fulfilled ahead of time.
All things considered, the Hyatt Regency DFW simply isn’t worth it. If you need to stay on airport property, book the Grand Hyatt inside the terminal instead. Otherwise, you’ll likely get better value and comfort at one of the many off-airport hotels nearby.
Although this hotel has undergone superficial renovations over the years, it remains a late 1970s or early 1980s hotel with over 800 rooms. The focus here is on quantity, not quality. It feels more like a dumpy old Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza trading on its airport location and Hyatt brand recognition.
The staff was extremely helpful. Accommodated our need to store our fish in a freezer. Bell staff was right there to help. Our room was very clean and up to date.
Our flight was delayed requiring an overnight stay at Dallas. The airline had provided hotel vouchers which after seeing the condition of them we decided to opt out. We spent $550 booking this hotel believing it to be convenient and a better suited option. Although in the airport it still requires a shuttle. The alternate is dragging your bags through the parking garage. The shuttle was efficient running every 20 minutes 24/7. When we arrived check in was smooth. My issue was with the quality of the rooms. These were comparable to the rooms I was provided with the voucher. In addition bathroom was dirty and room was dusty. This stay was a highway robbery.
I had a great experience with the hotel stay. the staff was friendly, the ambience was nice, the coffee in the coffee shop was great. My only complaint was the lack of food variety within the hotel, this was solved by going out multiple times, but the staff was great and validated my ticket each time as a benefit of staying with them.
very close to the airport, good gym, nice bar, laundry room - lovely pool area too. Staff were fantastic particularly Lena in the bar and the young man on the service desk/lift
it is pretty expensive but i guess that is dictated by the location. fresh milk in the room would have been nice but they did have breakfast tea which is unusual in US hotels
Overall good stay, the closeness to the airpot and convenience of the shuttle to and from the airport and downtown was great. The coffee bar and restaurant downstairs were great, the rest of the hotel just felt a little dated. I was there for a very stressful school week and the front desk also put together these little self-care packages to give us upon arrival which was a very sweet touch!
Not as loud being next to the airport
as I originally thought.
Nice restaurant. Disappointed that the sushi place was closed.
Not a single recycling bin anywhere.
Buffet breakfast was not complimentary. $32 + tip
Excessive at best with typical mediocre breakfast food.
Staff was courteous and professional.
Room entry light not working.
Bathroom could use a good cleaning.
It was a good size room. Very comfortable bed. Elevated views we were on the 13th floor which was great. All the equipment worked. Good bathroom. The onsite restaurant and cafe were very good. Great choices of food and really good and helpful staff.
Even though we overlooked the airport noise was not a problem.
The windows were dirty so the view was not clear.
