Bookings of 3 rooms or more will be classed as a group reservation and charged a 1 night plus tax as a deposit. A group cancellation policy of 30 days prior arrival will be applicable. Changes or cancelations will need to be made at least 30 days in advance or the 1 night deposit will be forfeited. There must be a name attached to each rooGuests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Location very close to downtown
Staff should be more friendly.
Room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were very good. The location of the Banff Ptarmigan Inn is excellend, as the bus stops are just over the road. The dining facilities are good and well priced.

Excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking included at no extra charge. Kettle and fridge in room!
Noise! Noise from the street, Noise from other guests in the corridor.
The room and the hotel itself could do with refreshing and more detailed cleaning.
It was also extremely dark in the room even with every light available on.
Despite haveg a large coach party checking in when we arrived, we were checked in very quickly and provided with information. The reception staff were extremely helpful in offering advice and making bookings for us to visit Moraine Lake and Lake Louise (with discounts!) for a small tour with friendly and informative driver.
The hotel's restaurant serves an limited menu but is of good quality and the staff are professional but in a very casual style.
Self parking is free of charge in heated underground space.
Our room seemed a little 'tired' at first but was very clean and comfortable with balcony overlooking the road and moutains beyond.

Good location, good staff.
The sauna had mold growing in it. The rooms weren’t perfectly clean. It was far more expensive than the year before.
Location was superb. Staff were all friendly, courteous and helpful - quite a few young Australians and Brits who understood customer service.
The bath shower was slippery and no non-slip mat was provided. However, one phone call to Reception solved that matter within 5 minutes. However, non-slip mats should be provided as a matter of course, particularly when - as with this hotel - the bathtub was slippery when wet.
