The Europe Hotel & Resort

We liked everything about the property. They had excellent breakfast. Excellent dinner. Excellent spa. Location was great. Only complain we didn’t have AC in our room and it got hot at night inspite of the fan that they provided.

Just everything about the hotel was a very high standard. One of the best I have stayed at!

Everything was super, just a bit disappointed that the staff addressed my husband directly always as his name was on the booking. I did the booking but that doesn't matter! All good other than that. We look forward to going again later in the year.

Almost as good as the Llao Llao in Patagonia, Argentina

The hotel itself is wonderful. Service was very good. Staff at the lounge and other restaurants were friendly and very professional. The food was far above expectations. Our only issue was that the room we booked was located on level -1(the basement). It was selected because it was advertised as a garden view with a balcony. While the view was good, the room is located near the parking garage entrance and the laundry. I would never have booked this room if I knew it's location. Also, the room did not have a working safe or thermostat, so the room was sub-tropical.

Arrived at hotel mid week for one night. We were told by reception at check in the cleaners were still in the room so we went for a drink in the meantime. When we returned we were told the room still wasn't ready so we waited in the lobby. Reception finally gave us the key and when we arrived at the room the foor was open and the cleaners were still inside. Hotel should not state on website that you can check in at 3pm and then have toom ready at 4.10pm.

We went to the spa and had intense deep tissue massages where we both fell asleep so obviously they were not that intense but enjoyable all the same. The thermal suite was also underwhelming- jacuzzi not working in infinity pool and sauna was very hot.

On return to our room, we noticed all our belongings were moved and the curtains closed. Not sure if this is usually done in 5* hotel but we felt like it was unnecessary.

We then went to the Brasserie for dinner where we were told that there would be a 45min wait for food but we could go to Riva as they would have seats. I had called weeks beforehand to reserve a table at the Brasserie and was told it was first come first serve. Then we noticed a table reserved for 8 people on our way out.

The room was well equipped but the beds were hard and it was way too hot leading to a poor night sleep.

Told the receptionist about our check in and instead of taking it on board she unapologetically said that the hotel was fully booked and check in is usually between 3-4pm

This property was gorgeous. The rooms, beautiful and super clean. The beds very comfortable and the surrounding area breathtaking. The service was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back.

This hotel is exceptional. The views and the spa are world class. The hotel is pretty unassuming when walking up but don't be fooled, they invested in all the right areas to create an amazing experience.

A stunning hotel

Lovely hotel. But for a 5-star resort st that price point we thought that the room was a bit cramped. Also the lighting in our room was practically non- existent! We had someone come to help but he just said that some rooms are very dark and don’t have lighting. And that we had one of those rooms. It was impossible to read a book at night. Nice staff however and fabulous spa!

Amazing lodging! There is nothing negative I can say about The Europe, it was an incredible place and an overall wonderful experience.

Second time staying here. Location breathtaking, service impeccable and food divine. We had the standard lakeside room which still had partial lake view and both mornings we saw wild deer from our room

The hotel was perfect. It was clean and felt very safe with santiser stations around the hotel and the staff wearing visors.

Amazing relaxing atmosphere and service. We ate in the hotel 3 times while we were there. For the most part, the food was lovely, but we were a bit disappointed with the meal in the panorama restaurant. The starters were very poor (celeriac soup and liver parfait). The breakfast there was also fairly average. Would have expected more for the price we paid for the meal.

They should not sell a room for 3 when only 1 bed in the room

The hotel and staff are very welcoming. The location of this hotel has fantastic views of the lake.
